Karaoke songs that are easy to sing, even for those who aren’t confident at singing, recommended for teenage girls
Recently, with the rise of high-voiced male vocalists, it’s become an even tougher world for tone-deaf women when it comes to singing.
In particular, women who can’t hit high notes are probably having quite a hard time.
Of course, vocal range matters, but even more important is whether you’re choosing the right key for yourself.
With that technical point in mind, this time I’ve selected easy-to-sing songs I’d recommend for teenage girls.

Beautiful finsupittsu

Spitz is a Japanese band that has continued to be popular since the 1990s.
Their catchy melodies stick in your head no matter where you pick them up.
Especially since the 2020s, they’ve been churning out hits to the point that you could call it a resurgence.
Among their songs, the one I particularly recommend is Utsukushii Hire (Beautiful Fin).
Their music is orthodox pop, which makes it easier to sing compared to other genres, and this track, too, stands out for its friendly, approachable melody with that same quality.
It might seem a bit high, but it’s a range that most women can handle without issue, so try not to switch to falsetto unnecessarily.
I hate itatarashii gakkou no rīdāzu

Right now, the idol group Atarashii Gakko! is hugely popular.
Most teenage girls probably know them.
They keep releasing hit tunes one after another, but the song I especially recommend is Sukirai.
While Atarashii Gakko! is known for many works that feature kayōkyoku (Japanese pop ballads), this track spotlights hip-hop elements like trap.
The rhythm is laid-back and the chorus has a downer vibe, so I think it’s very easy to sing.
Suzume feat. ToakaRADWIMPS

Film director Makoto Shinkai has been delivering one blockbuster hit after another.
His film Suzume not only became a box-office success, but its theme song also drew significant attention.
That song is Suzume feat.
Toaka—a collaboration between RADWIMPS and Toaka, who had gained popularity on TikTok.
The track is characterized by clear, pure vocals and a dreamy musicality; rather than amping things up, it captivates through its overall atmosphere.
As a result, the vocal difficulty is low.
Even with a limited range or a lower voice, as long as you choose the right key, pretty much anyone can sing it decently.
Taisho RomanticismYOASOBI

Taisho Roman, created with the novel Taisho Romance as its motif, was released in 2021 by YOASOBI, a hugely popular unit among night-music lovers.
It’s a recommended number for those who think, “I don’t know what to sing…” when going to karaoke with friends or a partner.
Its glamorous, slightly nostalgic sound pairs perfectly with poetic lyrics that unfold like a story.
The vocal range isn’t wide, and the song progresses with a steady rhythm, so even women who are new to karaoke can try it with confidence.
If you’re a teen, why not sing a track by an artist everyone knows?

Marigoldaimyon

This was Aimyon’s fifth major single, released in August 2018.
It’s a really great song, produced in a way that makes the most of Aimyon’s charmingly unadorned vocals and persona.
I imagine many readers of this article are fans of hers.
While Aimyon gives off a very approachable impression through her music, lyrics, and visual image, her vocal ability is actually quite formidable.
I think it would be very difficult to perfectly reproduce this in karaoke, for example.
That said, the melody of the song itself is very simple, so even people who aren’t confident singers will probably find it relatively easy to sing.
In fact, that very quality may be part of what contributes to her popularity!
You don’t listen to rock.aimyon

This is Aimyon’s third major-label single, released in August 2017.
With a simple rock arrangement produced to highlight Aimyon’s unadorned vocals and lyrical worldview, it’s turned into a very appealing song.
That said, her singing makes skillful use of vocal color and expressive techniques, so perfectly recreating it might be quite difficult—even for confident singers.
Still, if you’re just enjoying it at karaoke without overthinking it, the melody is relatively simple, and the way the words (lyrics) sit on the melody is very straightforward, so I think it’s a song that’s easy to sing even for those who aren’t strong singers.
Don’t worry too much about the original—sing it in your own way, with your own feelings.
If you’re a teenage girl, there are probably many parts of the lyrics you can relate to.
sparkling brightlyikimonogakari

This is Ikimonogakari’s seventh digital-only single, released in August 2020.
It was used as the theme song for TV Asahi’s Thursday drama “The Investigator of Unsolved Cases: Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department Document Investigation Unit,” Season 2.
It’s a very beautiful, mid-tempo, gentle track.
While Ikimonogakari is often associated with energetic songs featuring striking high vocals, a tender song like this is equally captivating.
Performing a piece like this well does require a fairly high level of vocal ability in many respects, but if you focus on enjoying it at karaoke, the melody doesn’t rise and fall too dramatically, so it’s relatively easy to sing even for those who aren’t confident singers.
It’s perfectly fine to prioritize the vibe over strict accuracy!
