[Thank-You Party] A Collection of Game & Quiz Ideas That Liven Up Nursery and Kindergarten Events (61–70)

Flag-raising game

Flag-raising game

This is a familiar game—the “Flag-Raising Game” that scrambles your brain with trick questions! You hold different colored flags in your right and left hands and raise the flags according to the commands: “raise,” “lower,” “don’t raise,” and “don’t lower.” Listen carefully and stay focused so you don’t make mistakes while you play!

Whose voice? Quiz

[Otaku Level Diagnosis] ONE PIECE Character and Voice Actor Guessing Quiz! ONE PIECE VOICE QUIZ!
Whose voice? Quiz

How about trying a voice-guessing quiz that everyone can enjoy together? In this game, you listen to various people’s voices and guess who they belong to.

For example, try guessing the voices of popular anime characters.

If one of your favorite characters shows up, it’ll naturally put you in a good mood.

You could focus on a specific anime, or define it more broadly with characters from popular series—that sounds fun too.

You could also make quizzes featuring celebrities or people you know.

Rock-Paper-Scissors Relay

Rock-Paper-Scissors Relay

By not just playing rock-paper-scissors as usual but adding rules and making it a relay, it turns into a perfect, fun game for a thank-you party! For example, you could use a T-shirt as a baton and have the winner take it off and pass it to the next teammate—adding actions like this will make it even more exciting.

A thank-you party is the last fun time spent with everyone from kindergarten or nursery school.

Since time to talk with everyone is important, it’s better to choose games that are easy to understand and quick to play, rather than ones that take a long time to explain or to grasp the rules.

Rock-paper-scissors tournament

Rock-paper-scissors tournament

It’s simple, but a rock-paper-scissors tournament is an incredibly exciting game, isn’t it? It’s easy to play because everyone knows the rules.

If a teacher or a parent represents the adults and plays rock-paper-scissors with the kids, and you prepare a lavish prize for the last person standing, it’ll be an absolute blast.

Let’s make sure no one ends up fighting, okay?

Musical chairs

Musical chairs

Musical chairs is a classic recreational game! Everyone walks around chairs arranged in a circle, and when the music stops, they all try to sit at once.

Those who fail to get a seat are eliminated one by one, and the game continues until only one person remains.

It’s a surprisingly deep game where quick reflexes—and a bit of luck—are crucial!

Teacher’s eye-guessing quiz

[Ultra Hard] The Pokémon Guess-the-Eyes Quiz is just incomprehensible
Teacher's eye-guessing quiz

If the thank-you party venue has a projector and such, I recommend the “Guess the Teacher by Their Eyes” quiz! Borrow photos of the teachers who have helped the children and display a close-up of just their eyes.

Have the kids guess which teacher the eyes belong to! If you have the teacher present a medal to each child who guesses correctly, it will become a wonderful memory for both the teachers and the graduates.

It might be even more exciting if you mix in eyes from anime characters as well, not just the teachers’ eyes!

Hiragana Quiz

[Hiragana Quiz] Find the one word that's different! [For toddlers / kindergarteners / ages 4–6 / educational video / educational animation / odd one out] Hiragana quiz
Hiragana Quiz

Here’s an idea for a hiragana quiz that lets you learn hiragana in a game-like way.

On a screen or on paper, you lay out various hiragana characters and look for the odd one out.

For example, among many 'ki,' there's a single 'sa' mixed in.

I’d like learners to approach it like a spot-the-difference activity, asking, “Where’s the odd one out?” Then gradually make it more complex by moving from single characters to words, increasing the number of characters, and so on.

It’s also great because everyone can work together on it.
