At the Earth Shop (at Chikyu-ya)
Earth House Yuji Nomi

An insert song set in the small antique shop “Chikyūya,” where the story takes place.

Is it a gut guitar and harp, or perhaps a multi-string guitar? The balance between the warm tones and the shimmering timbre is exquisite.

Music for a space with retro interiors and an antique atmosphere.

It evokes light filtering through the trees, and—like the work itself—has a sound that, curiously, doesn’t feel dated.

Perfect as sunny daytime BGM.

The Back of the Earth / Iyowa feat. RIME
the other side of the Earthiyowa

This is a highly creative Vocaloid track that hits you hard with its unstable imaging and rapid-fire melodies.

It’s a song by the Vocaloid producer Iyowa, known for their unique musical direction that grabs listeners’ hearts and won’t let go, released in 2022.

The unpredictable song structure and supremely chaotic sound arrangement are so masterfully done that you can’t help but say, “as expected…” The final chorus—both the song and the MV—is just incredible.

I’m at a loss for words.

As for interpreting the lyrics, I feel like each listener will come up with something completely different.

Super Beast Gigachōgakusei

Vocaloid producer Chogakusei, whose profile remains shrouded in mystery, released Chojugiga as the third installment of his “Chogakusei × Vocaloid Producer Project.” This track is a collaboration with Vocaloid producer Nirukajitsu, blending elements of traditional Japanese music and rock into its sound.

It’s also intriguing that the piece includes motifs that evoke the illustrated scroll Chojū-jinbutsu-giga, which appears to have inspired it.

Additionally, the characters born from the song that appear in the music video are not to be missed.
