[Who's in it?] TikTok Commercials: A Collection of Eye-Catching, Memorable Ads (21–30)

TikTok “Cherry Blossom Viewing” Edition

The TikTok commercial “Cherry Blossom Viewing” featuring Aya Ueto and Fuka Koshiba.

Although it’s indoors, the two are enjoying a board game under a cherry blossom tree.

Koshiba, unwilling to admit defeat, flips the board over.

Then, a TikTok shoot suddenly begins.

They hold petals in both hands and scatter them, which is shown in reverse to create a playful effect.

And the final appearance is by a white dog—the famous SoftBank Shirato family’s father! It’s also a treat to see Aya Ueto, who plays the daughter in SoftBank ads.

TikTok: “Shall we make some exciting memories?” (version)

Rena Kuroki, a model who made headlines as the first image girl for San-ai Mizugi Paradise born in the 2000s.

In this TikTok commercial, two boys engage in various battles over her.

Presented as a short movie, the ad perfectly conveys TikTok’s appeal.

But in the end, Kukki! from the comedy duo Wild Bomb steals the spotlight.

TikTok “Hatsumode” VersionTomoya Nakamura, Niche, Perfume

Tomoya Nakamura goes for his first shrine visit of the year in traditional Japanese attire with Niche; Perfume makes a special appearance as well — new TikTok CM “Hatsumode Edition.”

This is the “Hatsumode (New Year’s Shrine Visit)” installment of a series of commercials featuring Tomoya Nakamura and the duo Niche, playing coworkers at an apparel company.

Released in December 2019, the ad includes playful touches that make you want to try them yourself—like the two members of Niche filming a video with a filter that turns their faces into mice, in reference to the 2020 zodiac sign.

Also, at the very beginning of the commercial, there’s a TikTok clip featuring the three members of Perfume, so don’t miss that either!
