[For Kids] Today’s Quiz Roundup. Let’s play quizzes about today! [March 2026] (21–30)
Flower Quiz

Japan is a country with four seasons.
You probably don’t start paying attention to that until you’re older, but even so, children are naturally interested in the flowers that bloom in each season.
The “Flower Quiz” is a fun way to learn about different flowers.
Once they’ve learned the names, you can take it a step further with questions that connect colors and seasons, like: “Which flowers are yellow?” Answer: “Sunflowers, marigolds.” “Which flowers bloom in autumn?” Answer: “Cosmos,” and so on.
It also sounds fun to go for a walk in a park and look for the flowers you’ve learned about.
Fruit Quiz

If you’re getting bored with the quizzes on video sites, creating your own questions can be fun.
The fruits kids know might actually be fewer than you think.
With a “Do you know this?” quiz, try introducing fruits that aren’t so familiar to them—like papaya, longan, or sugar apple—in a quiz format.
Just asking “What do you think this fruit is called?” will get kids super excited.
To make it feel like an event, it’s also a great idea to prepare fruits they don’t usually see, such as starfruit or durian.
Kids will be fascinated by fruits they’ve never even touched.
Rather than simply asking quiz questions, if you frame it as “learning more about fruits,” they may naturally pick up new knowledge.
Life & sound-guessing quiz

Let me introduce a sound-guessing quiz based on everyday life.
There are all kinds of sounds around us—like a clock’s second hand, a shower, wind chimes, or a kettle boiling.
Let’s turn them into a quiz! Even sounds you hear all the time can be surprisingly tricky when it’s only the sound.
This activity helps develop the ability to think using hearing rather than sight, as well as intuition, adaptability, and intellectual curiosity, making it perfect for kids who are bored with simple quizzes.
Give it a try with your child and have fun making some noise together!
Witty Riddle

Do you know what day January 9 is? It’s actually “Tontchi Day” (Wit Day).
Speaking of tontchi (wordplay riddles), you think of Ikkyu-san—since Ikkyu is associated with 1 and 9, that makes January 9.
Even that itself is a pun and a play on words—how fun! “Tontchi” is written 頓智 and means “quick-witted wisdom that comes out on the spot.” There are all kinds of tontchi, too.
Let’s all get into the spirit with some “tontchi quizzes.” If you draw the questions on a big sheet of poster paper, it could work great for parties and events.
Some of the questions are a bit “tricky” or mischievous, but that’s part of the charm!
Junior Arithmetic Olympiad Quiz

The Math Olympic is held every year for children who love arithmetic.
To make it to the finals, participants must achieve a passing score in the regional trial.
What we present here are past questions from the Math Olympic trial.
Although it’s called math, these aren’t simple calculation problems like addition or subtraction.
Instead, they test your ability to read the problem carefully, think logically, and derive an answer.
So even children who feel weak at calculations can enjoy engaging with math through these quizzes.
