Songs by TUBE. A list of TUBE’s classic hits and recommended popular tracks.

When you think of TUBE, you think of summer songs! It’s true that the majority of their hit songs are themed around summer, and they’re strongly associated with wearing aloha shirts all year round, but of course they’re active in other seasons as well.

They perform live shows throughout the year, too.

They’ve been labeled a “perpetual summer band,” but this time we researched songs that don’t fit that image.

You might discover TUBE’s charm from this different side of them, including some hidden gems—so please take a look!

The title is grandiose, and the lyrics also suggest they were written with considerable depth.

At live performances, especially as the closing number of the album “Shonan,” it’s often sung with a spectacular fountain production, and it has become a classic that’s increasingly likely to be performed as they continue to play more shows.

Romance of SummerTUBE

The title track of the album “Roman no Natsu” is a masterpiece that hints at a wonderful summer encounter.

Michiya Haruhata’s guitar solo is a highlight, and Tetsuya Maeda’s vocals are absolutely captivating.

Despite being an album track, it’s also one of the most popular songs.

Scarred HeroTUBE

Songs by TUBE that stir listeners’ hearts with passionate spirit and powerful sound.

As a track that brightens up high school baseball—an iconic symbol of summer—it was included on the album “Owaranai Natsu ni,” released in June 1994.

Chosen as the opening theme for TV Asahi’s program “Netto Koshien,” this song is a fight anthem that gives courage to face setbacks and hardships.

Atsushi Maeda’s powerful vocals and Michiya Haruhata’s fiery guitar resonate deeply.

It’s frequently featured during the high school baseball season and is beloved as an encouraging song for many young people.

A must-listen for anyone tackling club activities or entrance exams.

This is a smash hit by TUBE released in August 2005.

It was tied in as the theme song for the TV Tokyo anime’s Toho-distributed film “Naruto the Movie: Legend of the Stone of Gelel,” making it a track popular among children as well.

Shonan My LoveTUBE

Set against the shores of Shonan, this classic song poignantly sings of lost love and the memories of summer.

Real place names like Enoshima and Kugenuma are woven in, painting vivid scenes in the listener’s mind.

True to TUBE’s style, the refreshing melody blends beautifully with lyrics that express the pain of parting.

Released in May 1991, this track is packed with the charm that defines them as a summer band.

The lyrics, where the conflicting feelings of “goodbye” and “once more” intersect, are something anyone can relate to.

It’s a wonderful song that makes your heart ache just a little when you listen to it at summer’s end.

Keeping the FaceTUBE

It’s a classic track included on the 1988 album “Remember Me,” and there was a period when it was always performed in the latter half of their live shows.

With lyrics by Maeda and music by Haruhata, it features a distinctly rock-oriented feel.

It’s also known for having many fans who strongly hope to hear it performed live.
