5AMLil Baby

Lil Baby, a rapper from Atlanta, Georgia, released a new track in November 2024.
Running about two minutes, the song marks his return after overcoming what he describes as “the darkest period” of his life.
Toward the end, the lyrics hint at a new album, and the music video closes by displaying the title of the next album, “WHAM.” At the end of 2023, Lil Baby declared he would take a break “until the album is finished,” so this release signals the resumption of his musical activities and heightens anticipation for the new album.
23’s A BabyBlondshell

Since her debut in 2022, Los Angeles–based artist Blondshell has drawn attention with a style reminiscent of ’90s alternative and grunge.
This new track stands out with powerful, girl-group–style harmonies, and its lyrics—capturing the feelings of people in their twenties—resonate with many listeners.
Released in April 2025 as part of the album “If You Asked For A Picture,” the song also features a music video inspired by the film “DILFs of Disneyland,” humorously portraying youth’s confusion and self-discovery.
It’s perfect for parties or drive scenes, and it’s sure to connect with anyone in the midst of finding themselves.
2004 (feat. buddy & the gang)YG

YG, the popular rapper and actor from Compton, Los Angeles—a city that has produced numerous legendary MCs—released a new track in March 2025 titled “2004.” As the title suggests, the song carries a heavy weight, with lyrics that candidly recount the harsh sexual abuse he experienced at age 14, given that YG was born in 1990.
Beyond the track’s strong sense of West Coast hip-hop tradition and his characteristically restrained, unemotional delivery that showcases his prowess, the weighty lyrics are also well worth checking out in translation, as noted above.
5 Star (feat. Gunna)Wiz Khalifa

A luxurious collaborative track has been born, where a melodious flow and catchy hooks weave a pleasant sound layered with Gunna’s smooth rap style.
The sophisticated production work unique to Wiz Khalifa, a leading figure in the American hip-hop scene, and the trap-influenced beat create a distinctive atmosphere that leaves a strong impression.
Released in March 2025, this piece serves as the lead track for a new six-song project.
Speaking of Wiz Khalifa, he’s the artist behind the massive hit “See You Again,” featured in the 2015 film Furious 7, which topped the Billboard Hot 100 for 12 consecutive weeks.
Balancing a relaxed vibe with refined musicality, this track is perfect for late-night drives or moments when you want to let loose at a party.
316Van Halen

A guitar piece Eddie wrote for his son, Wolfgang Van Halen, in honor of his birthday.
It’s a gentle composition without flashy playing or techniques, overflowing with the affection of a father toward his son—not as a “super guitar hero” famed worldwide, but as Wolfgang’s one and only dad.
Wolfgang would later join Van Halen as a member, but this track reveals a side of the musician Eddie Van Halen that feels purely like the relationship between parent and child, rather than that of bandmates.
1985Bowling For Soup

It’s a pop-rock song filled with nostalgia for 80s pop culture.
From the perspective of a woman named Debbie, the lyrics weave in admiration for musicians of the era and the unfulfilled dream of becoming an actress.
It’s a track that gets everyone going at karaoke, from those who lived through the 80s to younger generations.
It was included on Bowling For Soup’s album “A Hangover You Don’t Deserve” and released in July 2004.
The music video is packed with parodies of famous 80s videos.
It’s perfect for cross-generational fun at office parties, reunions, and similar gatherings.
40/40Carpenters

This is a two-disc compilation album packed with the charm of the Carpenters, the American pop music group emblematic of the 1970s.
It features 40 tracks woven together by Karen Carpenter’s warm, heartfelt vocals and Richard Carpenter’s masterful arrangements.
Released in Japan in April 2009, it became a major hit, reaching No.
3 on the Oricon chart.
Timeless classics like “(They Long to Be) Close to You” and “Rainy Days and Mondays” gently sing of love, everyday joys, and, at times, tender heartache.
It’s an ideal pick for anyone seeking soothing melodies or looking for a welcoming introduction to Western pop music.
