Here’s a helpful tip for anyone looking for Halloween crafts for three-year-olds! With projects like tissue-paper stained glass, shaker wands, and cotton-ball ghosts, kids can enjoy textures and sounds for a sensory-rich experience.
From painting with watercolors and tearing paper to kneading clay, these activities let children create while exploring how different materials feel.
As they make things, their imagination will grow, too.
We’re sharing cute craft ideas that are perfect for decorating your Halloween party.
Since the children’s creations are treated as works of art, we use the term “seisaku” (作品/制作) in the text to refer to them.

Ghost Wand

I’ll show you how to make a fluffy ghost wand that you’ll want to touch.
First, cut out the ghost’s facial parts, hands, and hat from construction paper.
Decorate the hat to make it cute by drawing patterns or adding stickers.
Stuff cotton into a plastic bag, insert a stick made by rolling origami paper, and seal the bag opening with tape.
While securing with tape, shape the bag into a round form and attach the paper parts you made at the beginning.
Finally, tie a ribbon at the base of the stick, and your ghost wand is complete! It looks just like a cotton candy ghost.
Wobbly Ghost

Here’s a simple ghost craft idea you can make with a shopping bag.
First, cut off the bag’s handles with scissors.
Next, fold the bottom corners so the base becomes rounded, and secure them with tape.
The bag will become the ghost’s body, so draw a face on the open area.
Tie a piece of string to a disposable chopstick, and attach the other end of the string to the bottom of the bag.
When you hold the chopstick and move the bag up and down, air will fill the bag and the ghost will sway.
It’s very easy to make, so feel free to use it for children’s craft activities.
In conclusion
We introduced Halloween crafts that you can enjoy together with three-year-old children.
In addition to the fun of making things, they offer hands-on practice and the joy of playing with what they create.
Enjoy craft time along with the pleasant autumn breeze.
