Around Halloween, you see lots of cute Halloween donuts lined up in stores, right? These donuts are easy to make out of paper.
The key is to roll the paper into a tube and weave it into a circle to form a donut shape.
You can have fun making them using decorative stickers and origami to create ring donuts or cream-filled donuts.
It would be fun to make a bunch and play donut shop, too.
Let’s make colorful, delicious-looking donuts and get into the Halloween spirit!
Ghosts made of clay
@haruharo_made Halloween craft / Clay Halloween ghosts 👻 The sensation when you stretch the clay is irresistible! The kids are super curious, too! We’re using Daiso’s Smooth Clay. It’s really sticky, so it adheres well to construction paper with just the clay, and after it dries it doesn’t crumble—mysteriously turns into a soft, mochi-like texture! [Notes] • This craft may make the construction paper a bit flimsy.

When you find a ghost that looks fluffy to the touch, you can’t help but want to feel it, right? For this Halloween ghost, press some clay onto construction paper, then stretch it out with your hands and let it dry.
Once it’s dry, draw the eyes and mouth with colored pens, decorate around it as you like, and you’re done.
Be careful not to draw before it dries, as the colored pens may bleed.
Kids will likely be excited to try this new way of using clay.
Enjoy the feel of the clay as you dive into your Halloween craft!
Ghost candy container

Let’s make a ghost-themed candy holder that’s perfect for Halloween events.
Cut your favorite color construction paper into a fan shape, roll it into a cone, and glue it in place.
This will be the body of the bag—and the ghost’s body too.
Attach eyes, mouth, and hand parts made from other sheets of paper, then punch two holes at the top of the bag.
Thread a ribbon through the holes and tie it to create the handle, and your candy holder is complete.
You can draw the ghost’s face with crayons, or decorate it with stickers for an extra cute touch.

Curly Yarn Ghost

You often end up with lots of empty toilet paper rolls, right? In this Halloween craft, we’ll use toilet paper rolls to make mummies and jack-o’-lanterns.
If you want to add faces or stick colored origami paper onto the roll, draw or paste them on first.
After that, wrap yarn around the roll; making a small slit in the roll will help hold the yarn in place.
You can also make a black cat or a cute Frankenstein—create and decorate to your heart’s content!
Stringing with Halloween beads
@n.annlee321 My book has been greenlit for a reprint—thank you so much! I’ve added the link in my profile. Title: “New Handmade Toys” (Available now on Amazon, Rakuten, and in bookstores!) Learn through play! Simple, fun ideas. I’m An, sharing fun things you can enjoy with kids. I found Halloween-colored washi tape, so I combined it with tapioca/bubble tea straws and turned them into beads. If you’ve got extra washi tape, turning it into beads is super cute! It’s a bit of fine work, but with some clever cutting you can make ghost beads and pumpkin beads too. Great for stringing variations and Halloween crafts. If you’re doing threading activities at home for Montessori or fine-motor practice, it can get boring with the same patterns, right? Try making them together using your child’s favorite washi tape designs—it’s fun from the making stage. Thank you for reading! I’m a mom of a 3-year-old and a 6-year-old who love making and playing. (Toy Consultant & Picture Book Instructor) I share crafts, play ideas, handmade toys, picture books—anything fun to enjoy with kids. It’s said that practicing with scissors is good to start around ages two to three, so if your child can handle scissors well, why not try this craft? You only need two materials: wide tapioca (boba) straws and masking tape.
First, wrap masking tape around the boba straw, then cut it into small pieces.
If your child isn’t confident with scissors yet, an adult should handle the cutting.
Using Halloween-themed designs and colors for the masking tape, or varying how you apply it, can even make the pieces look like bats.
Use the finished beads to create room decorations or accessories!
Plump-plump pumpkin
@niconico_mama Puffy and cute! 🎃💕 This time, I’ll show you an easy, cute, and nicely rounded 3D version 🥰✨ It’s super simple to make ✨✨ Cut lots of long, thin strips of construction paper, punch holes in both ends with a hole punch, and bend the tip of a chenille stem (pipe cleaner) a little and twist it so it won’t poke your fingers. Thread the paper strips onto the pipe cleaner, twist the top of the pipe cleaner, then gently fan out the strips. Stick on eyes and a mouth for the pumpkin 🎃 and you’ve got an adorably puffy pumpkin! 💕 Add some string and hang it up— it spins around cutely like a mobile 💕 ☠🎃 Happy Halloween 🍭🍬 What colors will you use? ✨ Definitely give it a try! 💕 —————————— I used: • Construction paper • Pipe cleaners • Scissors • Hole punch —————————— ☆━━━━━━━━━━━━━━☆ Thank you always for your comments and likes 😊 I’m super happy to hear from those who say “I made it!” ☺️♥️ Can’t wait to see what you all play with and make 😆✨✨ ☆━━━━━━━━━━━━━━☆#HalloweenDecorations#HandmadeHalloweenPoster Board Craft

Here’s a cute idea for a pumpkin decoration with a plump, round shape.
First, cut black construction paper to make the facial features.
Next, prepare about 15 thin, long strips of orange construction paper, stack them, and punch holes at both ends.
Thread both holes onto a pipe cleaner with rounded ends, then twist the pipe cleaner to secure it at a point where the paper curves slightly.
Shape the extra length of the pipe cleaner to look like a vine.
Spread the paper strips out to form a sphere, and finally attach the face pieces to finish.
You can display it as is, or hang it as a decoration—it’ll look adorable either way.

It’s fascinating how paint repels the colors of crayons and pastel crayons, isn’t it? For this project, let’s draw on drawing paper using light-colored crayons or pastel crayons.
When you paint over your drawing with paint, the crayons or pastel crayons repel the paint, and the picture you drew pops out as if by magic.
It’s a perfect, magical craft for the Halloween season, so please give it a try.
We recommend it for children around 3 years old and up!
