Don’t you have an image of camels walking through the desert carrying people? Also, the hump—mentioned as the third hint—is a characteristic unique to camels. It’s said that the hump contains fat, and that camels store nutrients their bodies need by converting them into fat.

panda

If the only hint is a black-and-white animal, a zebra could be a candidate, but when you add that it’s a bamboo-loving crowd favorite, the answer is a panda. giraffe

If you’re asked to name an animal with a long neck, most people would probably answer “giraffe.” But giraffes actually have long tongues too—apparently up to 50 centimeters. The patterns on giraffes are said to be quite mysterious, but there are various theories: they may affect survival rates, help with camouflage, or aid in thermoregulation.

Elephant

Elephants used to be about the size of tapirs, but their bodies changed greatly when they moved their habitat to the grasslands. However, as their bodies grew larger, they needed a huge amount of energy just to drink water and eat. That’s why they began using their trunks. Only the elephants with long trunks survived, and their current form became the standard for what we call “elephants.”

When it comes to the animal that pulls Santa’s sleigh, it’s the reindeer. Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer is especially famous. Reindeer are members of the deer family, but they’re known for being the only species in which both males and females have antlers. The antlers fall off seasonally and grow back again.
