Classic Characters (11–20)
cell

This is Cell, a villain from the Dragon Ball anime series.
Cell’s voice is relatively easy to imitate, and the anime is extremely well-known, so he’s perfect for a first attempt at impressions.
Dragon Ball is hugely popular around the world, so showing off the impression to people from other countries might go over well too.
cheese

Some people might find doing impressions of human-type characters a bit embarrassing.
In that case, I recommend doing an impression of Cheese from Anpanman.
He’s the dog with that high-pitched bark.
Basically, if you can master just saying “wan” (woof), you’re good to go, so the difficulty is relatively low.
If you want to take it more seriously, try studying variations of his bark.
It could also be fun to present them like, “This is the bark he does in this scene.”
Vegeta

Impersonating Vegeta, one of the most popular characters in the Dragon Ball series, is a real classic! The key points are to aim for a slightly raspy tone and make your voice sound deep.
Since he’s a cool character, speak in a calm, matter-of-fact manner to match his vibe.
Also, pay attention to sentence endings—depending on the line, the pitch at the end may rise or fall a bit.
Try listening to his famous lines repeatedly and practice while picking up on these characteristics!
Char Aznable

Trying an impression of Char Aznable, Amuro’s rival from the anime Mobile Suit Gundam! He has tons of famous lines, so you should be able to perform plenty.
It might be fun to have someone play Amuro and do a back-and-forth, too!
Medama-oyaji

Shigeru Mizuki’s signature work GeGeGe no Kitaro has become so popular it could be called a national anime: the TV series has aired through its sixth season, and even a live-action film has been released.
The yokai-themed anime Yo-kai Watch is said to pay respect to GeGeGe no Kitaro as well.
Among the characters supporting Kitaro in the manga, Medama-oyaji might be the most imitated character across time and cultures.
One reason he’s so often mimicked is that anyone—male or female—can do it as long as they can produce a high falsetto.
The key is to shout, without embarrassment and in a loud falsetto, “Hey, Kitaro!!” If you’ve got the guts, you’ll be fine.
rum

If you want to do an impression of a cute female character, Lum would be perfect.
Lum is the heroine from the anime Urusei Yatsura.
Many people probably remember her along with that memorable opening theme, “Lum’s Love Song.” A remake was even aired recently.
First, try imitating her signature way of speaking, especially the sentence ending ‘-daccha.’ The trick is to lift your intonation sharply at the very end.
It’ll also go over great if you perform it together with the song.
Classic Characters (21–30)
Camille Bidan

Impersonating Kamille Bidan, the protagonist of Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam, goes over well with more hardcore Gundam fans.
The hyper-sensitive hero’s words and actions are full of famous lines.
In particular, the seemingly self-contradictory classic, “Why do you kill people so easily? Just die!” is likely to land even with people who don’t know the story.
