My SunShineOotake Hayato (ROCK’A’TRENCH)
Otake Hayato, the drummer of the rock band ROCK’A’TRENCH, is from Niihama City in Ehime Prefecture.
They released their sixth single, “My SunShine,” and the title track was chosen as the theme song for the Fuji TV drama “Mei-chan no Shitsuji” (Mei-chan’s Butler).
With this single, they made their first entry into the Oricon Top 10.
EXPerience GreatnessShirahama Alan (EXILE/GENERATIONS from EXILE TRIBE)
It may not be widely known, but he is from Matsuyama City.
As a member of the EXILE family, he is active across a wide range of fields, including singing, dancing, and acting.
Among fans, he is known as a dazzling performer, and his sharp dance moves captivate not only female fans but male fans as well.
Before moving to Tokyo, he played sports such as soccer and track and field, which is why energetic performances are his specialty.
I My Me MineYano (Polysics)
POLYSICS is a techno pop rock band that captivates listeners at various rock festivals with irresistibly catchy songwriting and a singular character.
Their drummer, Yano, hails from Imabari City in Ehime Prefecture.
Decked out in bright orange coveralls—the very color of Ehime—he drives the core of their songs, so be sure to pay attention to the drummer as well.
The Wing-Weeping BoynanoRider
nanoRider is an idol duo formed by Ayami Nishioka and Mayu Kadota, both from Ehime Prefecture.
Centered around performances at the Ehime live house “Salon Kitty,” they remained active until announcing their disbandment in 2017.
Even on nationwide tours, they made sure to include stops in Matsuyama, making them a unit brimming with hometown pride for Ehime.
Many people from Ehime may well have listened to this group’s songs.

The members of FRUITPOCHETTE, a sister group of Hime Kyun Fruit Can and AiCune, are from Ehime Prefecture.
