All four members of the rock band Denshirenji are from Imabari City in Ehime Prefecture.
Their song “Yuuki no Uta” gained attention as a tear-jerker and has surpassed 700,000 views on YouTube.
It was featured in a commercial for Iyo Bank and included in music textbooks.

Tomochika 890, who performs as a calligraphy singer doing calligraphy while singing, is from Imabari City in Ehime Prefecture.

Chika Takami, who works as an actress and singer, is from Niihama City in Ehime Prefecture.
She debuted as an idol singer in 1978 with the single “Cinderella.” She currently lives in Yomitan, Okinawa, and appears in commercials for a local Okinawan bank while helping out at the restaurant run by her husband.

Formed in 2012, Ai no Ha Girls is an idol group that began as a local Ehime idol unit and continues to be active today.
Their tagline—“sing, dance, and cultivate”—reflects their identity as an agriculture-promoting girls’ unit and conveys a deep love for Ehime.

Alan Shirahama, a member of GENERATIONS from EXILE TRIBE who is also active as an actor, reportedly became interested in dance after seeing a performance by J Soul Brothers in Matsuyama, Ehime Prefecture.
At 16, he took part in the first Gekidan EXILE audition and won a spot in the Gekidan EXILE Kaze-gumi.
However, he left the troupe at 19 and pursued the path of a dancer, which brings him to where he is today.
He is also active as a DJ.

Memories of a Summer DayHino Teruko
Teruko Hino, who was active as a singer, was from Matsuyama City in Ehime Prefecture.
“Summer Day Memories” is her signature song and became a million-seller with over one million copies sold.
She appeared in the NHK Kōhaku Uta Gassen for three consecutive years, and “Summer Day Memories” was performed at the 16th edition.
