Takashi Yamaguchi, who handles vocals and guitar for Sambomaster—a band known for its passionate singing and powerful performances—is from Aizuwakamatsu City in Fukushima Prefecture.
He formed Sambomaster in 2000, and the band made their major debut in 2003 with the split album “Houkago no Seishun” alongside the punk band Onanie Machine.
They broke through with the 2005 drama Densha Otoko’s theme song, “Sekai wa Sore wo Ai to Yobundaze,” and later garnered further attention with “Dekikkonai wo Yaranakucha,” which was also used in the 2010 drama Cheer☆Dan.
As for Yamaguchi personally, in 2010 he formed Inawashirokos with fellow members from Fukushima Prefecture, and following the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake, they released the charity song “I love you & I need you Fukushima.”
3090 ~Song of Love~yamazaru

Yamazaru, a former member of LGMonkees and now a singer-songwriter, is from Aizuwakamatsu City in Fukushima Prefecture.
He began his music career after meeting HIRO from LGYankees, initially featuring on tracks by LGYankees and Noa.
In 2010, he launched his activities as LGMonkees, introduced as a “mysterious artist presented by LGYankees.” He made his debut by covering Dragon Ash’s “Grateful Days” featuring Noa.
At the time of the Great East Japan Earthquake, he was living in Sendai, where his home was damaged and he temporarily stayed in an evacuation shelter.
“3090,” which he performed at a live event shortly after the disaster, became a big hit on YouTube and was released six months later as the single “3090 ~Ai no Uta~.” It garnered extensive coverage on many news programs and drew significant attention.

He, known as sasakure.uk or sasakure-P, who is also active as a songwriter/composer and Vocaloid producer, hails from Iwaki City in Fukushima Prefecture.
He began composing with a ringtone app, which led him to start releasing VOCALOID works.
Gaining significant attention from there, he released the album “Do Vocaloids Dream of Endless Notes?” in 2010.
The same year, a mini-game based on the PV for his own work “*Hello, Planet.” was also distributed.
In addition to music, his pixel-art-based animations and artwork—as well as illustrations and videos created to accompany his songs—have been drawing considerable attention.

LifE!!Masuko Atsuki

Atsuki Masuko, a native of Koriyama City in Fukushima Prefecture, is a member of the mixed-gender dance and vocal group GENIC.
He began his entertainment career after an audition in 2016, and in November 2019 officially launched his activities with GENIC through the digital EP “SUNGENIC ep.” He has also showcased his talent as an actor, gaining significant attention for the 2021 tokusatsu drama Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger and for starring in the 2023 drama Forecasting Love, which generated buzz across Asia.
On stage, he played the role of Haku in Spirited Away, earning international recognition, including a nomination at an awards event in London.
Within the group, he also writes lyrics, captivating fans with his multifaceted artistry in singing, dancing, and acting—embodying the image of a next-generation entertainer.
InstallShiga Riku

Riku Shiga, a member of the dance-vocal unit ICEx known for their charmingly retro “toy-pop” aesthetic, hails from Fukushima Prefecture.
The group’s surprise formation was announced at a live show by their predecessor group in March 2023, and they made their major debut that August with the single “CANDY.” Many people may have encountered their music through “Birimi,” which was selected as the ending theme for the TV anime Run for the Money: The Great Mission.
Alongside his music career, he is also showcasing his talent as an actor, with his first lead role in a drama slated for 2025.
As a next-generation multi-talent poised for a major leap forward, he’s definitely one to watch.

Toshiyuki Nishida, who has appeared in numerous works and programs as an actor and host, is from Kōriyama City in Fukushima Prefecture.
Nishida has starred in many popular productions such as Tsuribaka Nisshi (Free and Easy), Journey to the West, and Doctor-X, and served for many years as the chief and host of Detective Knight Scoop.
As a singer, he began his career with the 1977 release of Kimen no Aijō, and his 1981 song Moshi mo Piano ga Hiketanara became a massive hit and a timeless classic.
In 2018, he received the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Rosette, and the Fukushima Prefectural People’s Honor Award.
His gentle demeanor and flair for comedy have endeared him to the public.
romanticEndō Michirō

Michiro Endo, the vocalist of the punk band THE STALIN—which disbanded in 1993—who passed away in 2019, was from Nihonmatsu City in Fukushima Prefecture.
He formed THE STALIN in 1980, and their provocative, flamboyant live performances and music drew attention.
They made their major-label debut in 1982 with the single “Romanchist.” Shortly before that, under the band name Mad Stalin, they also appeared in the film Burst City.
Although THE STALIN disbanded once in 1985, they re-debuted in 1989 as a renewed THE STALIN.
They performed overseas as well, but disbanded again in 1993.
After that, Endo pursued a solo career, while also continuing activities under the name THE STALIN with multiple lineup changes over time.
