When the cosmos flowers bloomBuzy

It’s a piece that feels like being blown by an autumn wind, with a bittersweet parting coming into view.
It’s a song by Buzy, a six-member female dance-vocal group, and it was included as the B-side to their debut single “Kujira,” released in 2004.
It’s a pop tune where the light, buoyant rhythm shines against a mature chorus work, but the lyrics dwell on lingering feelings for a former lover.
Even when you try to forget, it’s hard to move forward… I’m sure some of you know that kind of love all too well.

MPRINCESS PRINCESS

M, which shines in autumn scenery, is a ballad that quietly seeps into the heart.
Carried by Princess Princess’s warm tones, it reflects a sentimental longing for days gone by.
The light piano melody and delicate vocals bring a bittersweet feeling, like admiring cosmos flowers.
A complete turn from the liveliness of summer, this song is perfect for long autumn nights—you’ll want to listen while slowly soaking in nostalgia alongside the autumn leaves.
M is a gem packed with autumn’s wistfulness and nostalgia, and I recommend savoring the emotional shifts that unfold as the song progresses.
planetariumOtsuka Ai

On a quiet night like gazing up at a starry sky, “Planetarium” shines with a truly special presence as a song that nestles close to people’s hearts.
Its melody, flowing with the wistfulness mingled in the autumn air, makes you forget the bustle of daily life and gently soothes the listener’s soul.
On long autumn nights when time moves unhurriedly, the song’s softly rendered ballad feels as pleasant as admiring autumn leaves under the moonlight.
It’s a recommended track for moments when you want to calm your mind while sensing the change of seasons.
“Planetarium” will add color to your autumn and create nights that are a touch bittersweet yet warmly comforting.
morning moonFujita Maiko

A bittersweet love song perfect for long autumn nights.
Maiko Fujita’s clear, transparent voice beautifully paints the moonlit scenery and the stirrings of the heart.
Released in August 2024, this piece is included on the album “Color.” Through natural imagery—like the chirping of crickets and the sounds of summer’s end—it captures emotional shifts, resulting in a track that truly resonates.
Recommended for anyone feeling the ache of unrequited love or those who find themselves gazing up at the moon while thinking of someone dear.
AutumnYabai T-shatsu Yasan

A mixed-gender three-piece rock band, ‘Yabai T-Shirts Yasan,’ brings an energizing autumn song, “Autumn.” I just introduced them as a rock band, but they’re a curious group that also carries hardcore and even comic-band elements—you all know them by now, right? This track “Autumn” leans more toward comical lyrics, bursting with an upbeat vibe driven by the concept of “What comes to mind when you think of autumn?” That said, the intro riff repeats at key moments, and the sound is seriously cool.
Highly recommended not only for guitar kids, but also for anyone who hasn’t heard Yaba-T yet!
Crescent Moon SunsetSakanakushon

Sakanaction’s “Mikazuki Sunset” fits perfectly from autumn dusk into the night.
It’s an early masterpiece from their 2007 album “GO TO THE FUTURE.” Gentle and restrained, yet wrapped in a faintly aching mood.
The lyrics are deep and open to many interpretations, but there’s a tightening feeling as if they hint at a missed connection or an approaching farewell.
It keeps close to our loneliness and the many facets of human relationships, and it really sinks in when you pause to catch your breath.
And that outro—just unbeatable.
The way the autumn rain falls is endearing.indigo la End

Set against a moody, slightly enigmatic accompaniment, this song poetically weaves a tale of romance.
It’s by the band indigo la End, fronted by Enon Kawatani—who is also active in Gesu no Kiwami Otome and Genie High.
The lyrics revolve around the theme of “autumn rain,” as suggested by the title, and are crafted in a way that invites varied interpretations from each listener.
You can enjoy it by pondering the true story and emotions embedded in the words, or by overlaying the lyrics with your own experiences.
It’s a track you’ll want to savor on a long autumn night.
