Motohiro Hata / Halation (Short Ver.)

Their eighth single, released in 2009.

It became the theme song for that year’s high school baseball broadcasts and the special program Nettō Kōshien.

It varies by generation, but when I think of Koshien, this is the song that comes to mind.

It seems they refined it after receiving the commission so it would suit baseball, and Hata’s delicate yet powerful vocals combined with the breezy sound evoke a swirl of emotions.

Masato Minagawa’s fragile yet radiant arrangement is also wonderful—I can’t stop being moved.

It’s a fight song for the Chiba Lotte Marines that openly celebrates local pride for Chiba and the bonds among its people.

The resounding brass and lively rhythms feel as if they capture the raw excitement of the stadium, making your heart race just by listening.

The lyrics carry a positive message: to unite our hearts here in Chiba and move forward together toward the future.

Released in April 2012, the song has long been loved as the theme that brightens the club’s “ALL for CHIBA Day.” It’s a track overflowing with regional love—one that ignites the hearts of anyone who cherishes Chiba as their hometown, as well as those who want to feel a sense of unity at sporting events.

When Roger Taylor’s drum sound—“don, don, tan”—kicks in, the live venue erupts with thunderous excitement.

It’s a familiar scene for Freddie Mercury to answer with foot-stomps, too.

This is an essential song for the huge climax in the latter half of a QUEEN concert.

Of course, it’s also included in brass band repertoire collections and is a staple at Koshien.

The famed Osaka powerhouse, Osaka Toin High School’s brass band, performs this piece at Koshien as well!

This is a refreshing cheer song by Ballistik Boyz that sets your heart ablaze with a trembling-voiced pledge among teammates: a resolve to never lose.

The track was chosen as the theme song for the East-West Tokyo High School Baseball Tournament in the summer of 2021.

The lyrics, which feel infused with MOCA’s real-life experiences as a former high school baseball player, do more than simply say “do your best”—they teach the importance of moving forward together, supporting one another through anxiety and inner conflict.

Whether you’re facing hurdles in sports or studies, this song will gently yet powerfully nudge you forward.

OKOoochie Koochie

A track that exquisitely fuses 1970s disco sounds with modern arrangements, also known as an official fight song for the Hiroshima Toyo Carp.

It’s the signature work of a unit formed in 2025 by two Hiroshima-born heavyweights of the music scene, Tamio Okuda and Koji Kikkawa, who launched the project in their milestone sixtieth year as a tribute to their hometown.

The lyrics, which encourage listeners to keep moving forward with a reassuring “It’s going to be okay” even in tough times, have resonated widely, and the energetic melody naturally gets people dancing.

Released in April 2025, the song brought the house down at Mazda Stadium when it premiered during the opening ceremony of that year’s professional baseball season.

It’s especially recommended for baseball fans looking to shake off pre-game nerves, as well as for anyone seeking encouragement during challenging times.

There’s always tomorrowUrufuruzu & Re:Japan

“Alright, let’s give it our all again tomorrow!” This is a song of hope that gives you that kind of straightforward courage, brought to you by Ulfuls and Re:Japan.

Preserving the original’s warmth, their rendition shines with a new brilliance.

The Ulfuls version was released as a single in 2001, followed shortly by Re:Japan’s version; the latter topped the Oricon charts and was featured in TV dramas and commercials.

In spring 2002, it was selected as the march for the National High School Baseball Invitational, delivering a fresh, moving atmosphere to Koshien.

When you’re about to take a new step, this song will surely give you great strength.

TSUNAMISazan Ōrusutāzu

A gem of a ballad by Southern All Stars.

From the piano’s beautiful melody that swells into a grand sound, to Keisuke Kuwata’s richly expressive vocals that sing of irrepressible love and the ache of heartbreak, it resonates deeply with listeners.

Released in January 2000, the song achieved a record-breaking 2.936 million copies sold.

In March 2001, it was also chosen as the entrance march for the Spring National High School Baseball Tournament.

When you want to reaffirm your unchanging feelings for someone special, or quietly look back on the past at night, this song will gently stay by your side.
