Evolution Rock-Paper-Scissors

“Evolution Janken” is a game where you evolve from an animal into a human by playing rock-paper-scissors.
The evolution order is chick, rabbit, gorilla, then human.
You can only play rock-paper-scissors against someone who is the same animal, so be careful.
The player who evolves into a human within the time limit is the winner.
Adjust the rules according to age and group size—for example, when you lose, you go back one step, or all the way back to chick.
You can use any animals you like, so set them to your favorites.
9-square tag

“Nine-Square Tag” is a quirky variation of tag played in an area divided into nine squares.
At a signal, everyone on the grid moves one square simultaneously.
If the tagger enters the same square as someone else, that person is out.
If the tagger can’t catch anyone within ten moves, the tagger loses.
It can be played in a small space.
Both kids and adults can enjoy it, and although simple, it engages both mind and body—great fun and a brain workout at the same time.
Give it a try!
Puzzle-solving game

When it comes to campfires, songs and dancing are classics, but another great option is a “puzzle-solving game.” It’s an intellectual recreation you can enjoy even in the dark.
For example, there are wordplay-style puzzles like figuring out what a string of hiragana represents, or cipher-like problems that use arrows and kanji—ranging from simple ones to those that require a flash of insight.
People of all ages, from kids to adults, can think them through together, and you can adjust the difficulty to suit the group size and age range.
You can tackle them individually or play in teams—there are many ways to have fun.
Give it a try!
They say the same things and do the same things.

“Say the Same, Do the Same” is a fun game that engages both body and brain.
The leader says, “Say the same, do the same!” and then calls out one of left, right, forward, or backward.
Players follow the leader’s instruction.
For example, if “forward” is called, you say “forward” and jump forward.
The game offers various versions and difficulty levels, such as “Say the Opposite, Do the Opposite” or “Say the Same, Do the Opposite.” Enjoy tailoring it to different ages.
Archery
Since you’re going camping, many of you probably want to enjoy recreational activities you can only really do on such occasions.
For those people, archery is a great recommendation.
By archery, I don’t mean the competitive sport, but archery-style toys.
They’re designed with safety in mind—for example, the arrow tips are made of sponge.
Even so, some products can shoot as far as about 60 meters.
Since it’s a special opportunity, why not set up a target as far away as the location allows?
Jump together

One fun challenge to try with a large group around the campfire is “Jump Together.” Form a circle holding hands with the campfire in the center.
One person calls out a direction to jump—like “forward” or “right”—and everyone else jumps in that direction.
If you keep calling “forward,” you’ll get too close to the fire and it will get hot, so the caller should be careful.
Once you get used to it, try a version where the calls stay the same, but everyone jumps in the opposite direction of the command!
Gorilla Game

A great recommendation for nighttime campfire recreation is the “Gorilla Game.” The rules are simple: split into a questioner and an answerer, and the answerer must reply “gorilla” to every question.
Questions like “What’s your name?” or “What did you have for breakfast today?” work well because answering “gorilla” makes it hilariously mismatched.
It’s a popular activity with kids, so be sure to give it a try around the campfire!
MTB

How about speeding along a bumpy road on a bicycle? The thrill of gliding smoothly between the trees is irresistible.
You can try a time attack if you like, but simply taking in the scenery at a relaxed pace is more than enough.
If you can ride a bike, it’s great for small children too!
A summer of fun with an outdoor smartwatch!

Do you have a smartwatch? They’re popular among people who go camping or do fitness because they can automatically record your daily activities! Since they can track steps and various other data, using them to set shared benchmarks with your friends can give you clear goals and a stronger sense of unity.
athletic tag

If there’s a large playground structure, how about playing tag there? Playing tag with obstacles is a bit different from the usual kind.
Make full use of your physical abilities.
However, since injuries can be dangerous, wearing a helmet and pads is essential.
