Daihatsu Hijet Cargo “Delivery” version / “Construction” version

This commercial is for the Hijet Cargo, which promotes its appeal of offering ample cargo capacity and smooth driving despite being classified as a kei car.

It features feedback from people in the delivery and construction industries who actually use the vehicle, effectively conveying how practical it is.

The background music is Ulfuls’ “Tatakae Everybody.” The song was created during the COVID-19 pandemic as a cheer-up anthem, and its straightforward, characteristically Ulfuls lyrics in Kansai dialect really hit home.

Thinking it was strange, he peered into the nozzle—and the water started flowing again, leaving him soaking wet.

It turns out a young girl had been mischievously stepping on the hose, stopping the flow! The girl’s playfulness is delightful, and the gentleman is charmingly playful too, making it a heartwarming commercial to watch.
