Word association game

It’s a simple word association game where you connect things related to a given word.
By clearly picturing the word, thinking about its characteristics, and then coming up with words they have in common, you can train your creativity.
Adding a rhythm or a time limit can make it more exciting as a game, but it may cause people to rush, so it might be better to let participants take their time.
Challenging how far you can keep linking words and testing the participants’ teamwork also sounds like it could be a lot of fun.
Balloon toss

Recommended when you’re stuck for day-service recreation ideas! If you have balloons and containers like baskets, you can easily play the “Balloon Toss Game.” Inflate the balloons and attach plastic bottle caps as weights.
Set up about three baskets at different heights and sizes to adjust the difficulty.
If you assign points to each basket and play, it adds to the game aspect.
You can also enjoy it by customizing—such as increasing the number of baskets or balloons.
Gum-Gum Kick Bowling

It’s a game where a newspaper ball is connected to your foot with a rubber band, and you try to kick it to knock down milk-carton pins in front of you.
It tests fine control of your foot—like whether you can bring the ball into a good kicking position and transfer your kicking power effectively.
You can also see individual styles: will you focus on a single, concentrated kick to topple as many pins as possible, or prioritize speed by kicking repeatedly? You can adjust the difficulty by changing the length of the rubber band or the size of the ball, so let’s have people try it in various configurations.
In conclusion
We introduced a range of day-service games, from nostalgic traditional pastimes to sports-inspired activities.
It’s a good idea not only to have participants play the games, but also to involve them in the preparations.
Many can be tried while seated, so participants can take part with confidence.
Set engaging formats like individual matches or team competitions, and give them a try!
