Karaoke songs that make it easy to score 100 points [for women]
With the rise of K-pop in recent years, the difficulty level of Japanese music has risen significantly.
In karaoke scoring—where pitch control is paramount, especially because melodies now tend to jump more drastically—there seem to be far fewer songs with which you can realistically aim for a perfect 100.
So this time, we’ve selected easy-to-sing tracks, focusing on recent releases, that you can target for a 100! We’ve also included concrete technique explanations from a vocal coach, so be sure to read through to the end!

Karaoke Songs That Make It Easy to Score 100 [For Women] (61–70)
Bunny GirlAKASAKI

To aim for a perfect 100, women don’t necessarily have to sing songs by female artists.
That’s why I recommend Bunny Girl.
It’s the well-known classic by AKASAKI.
Although the song is noted for its light, breezy melody, it surprisingly has a very narrow vocal range—among the narrowest even in Japanese pop.
The vocal line is also gently contoured with little variation, so as long as you set the right key, it should be easy to shoot for 100.
Definitely consider adding it to your repertoire.
Fiancé-kkyunano

Ano-chan, who’s everywhere on TV.
As a singer, she performs under the name ano and has nationwide hits.
Among her songs, the one I especially recommend is “Iinazuke-kkun.” It’s crafted with a Chinese pop-like vibe.
It may sound high, but that’s due to ano’s vocal timbre; surprisingly, the song is built within a relatively narrow range.
The chorus is very catchy, and since there aren’t flips between falsetto and chest voice, it’s a track that makes it easier to score a perfect 100.
death anniversarychanmina

This is rapper Chanmina’s 17th digital-only single, released in August 2023.
It was selected as the theme song for TV Asahi’s Thursday drama “Hayabusa Shobodan,” based on Jun Ikeido’s original work.
You can fully enjoy Chanmina’s powerful vocals with a slightly gritty edge.
That said, the vocal melody itself doesn’t span a very wide range, and there don’t seem to be any particularly tricky or difficult parts to sing, so I feel many people will find it easier to score high on karaoke.
Listen closely to the original and try to recreate Chanmina’s slightly lingering, sultry delivery.
Letting the rhythm run ahead is a strict no-no if you’re aiming for a high score!
Are you serious? (Prod. Chaki Zulu)Awich

Unlike 10–20 years ago, we’re now in an era where it’s totally normal to sing hip-hop at karaoke.
Especially for female heads, don’t you want to score a perfect 100 with your rap? For those people, I highly recommend ‘Are you serious? (Prod.
Chaki Zulu).’ It’s a new track from Awich that weaves elements of classical music into the beat.
It’s a very dope piece, but the flow itself sits somewhere between old-school and mid-school, making it feel approachable.
Love is checkmated.AKB48

AKB48 is an idol group that has continued to enjoy popularity for many years.
Since they’re still topping the charts, I believe they’re widely recognized by women across a broad age range, from their teens to their thirties.
Among AKB48’s songs, the one I especially recommend is Koi Tsun Jatta (Love, Checkmated).
While the track features intense, rock-style instrumentation, the vocal line is surprisingly calm.
The range is fairly standard, so as long as you watch out for the key change in the bridge, anyone can sing it with ease.
Setting SunYorushika

This is Yorushika’s 15th single overall (13th as a digital release), released in May 2023.
It was written as the opening theme for the TV anime “The Dangers in My Heart.” To sing this song well, the key points are: how carefully and clearly you can deliver the low notes that are used frequently outside the chorus, and whether you can keep up with the comparatively wide interval leaps in the chorus melody.
If you can clear those hurdles, the melody itself isn’t particularly complex, so if you’re aiming for a perfect 100 in karaoke, you should be able to handle it with solid practice.
Be sure to create a clear contrast between the legato passages and the more crisp, articulate sections.
It’s a bit of an advanced pick, but if you’re confident in your singing, definitely try for that perfect 100!
rainbow-coloredayaka

This is Ayaka’s 13th single, released in June 2014.
It was written as the theme song for the NHK morning drama series Hanako and Anne.
Ayaka is known for her highly acclaimed vocal ability, so some people might have the preconception that her songs are difficult to sing.
However, Niji-iro, which I’m introducing here, is built on a very friendly, easy-to-sing melody.
If you listen carefully to the original and sing it with care, scoring 100 at karaoke is by no means a dream.
Be sure to study and prepare thoroughly—even down to the subtle nuances of each phrase—and give it a try.
I feel that a key point is smoothly switching between chest voice and falsetto.
