With the rise of K-pop in recent years, the difficulty level of Japanese music has risen significantly.

So this time, we’ve selected easy-to-sing tracks, focusing on recent releases, that you can target for a 100! We’ve also included concrete technique explanations from a vocal coach, so be sure to read through to the end!

Karaoke Songs That Make It Easy to Score 100 Points [For Women] (51–60)
filtrationMayumura Chiaki

Chiaki Mayumura is a singer-songwriter who thrives on variety shows and as a businessperson.
She’s an artist who showcases her talent across a wide range of fields.
Among her songs, the one I particularly recommend as an easy pick for scoring a perfect 100 is “Roka” (“Filtration”).
This track features a vocal line that leans somewhat toward spoken delivery.
If you’re used to standard Japanese, you might actually find it easier to match pitch in these parts.
The chorus does include high notes, but since the tempo is slow, I think it’s still easy to stay on pitch.
Kiroromirai e

This is the second single by the female duo Kiroro, released in June 1998.
It’s often sung in middle and high school music classes and at choral competitions, and it’s also popular as a graduation song, so many women may have performed it in those settings.
The melody is very simple, straightforward, and easy to hum, making it one of the best choices when you want to aim for a perfect 100 at karaoke.
Because it’s such a plain, unadorned song, not trying too hard to sing it “well” might actually be the secret to getting that perfect score.
sunflowerAdo

This is Japanese female singer Ado’s 17th digital-only single, released in July 2023.
It was chosen as the theme song for TBS’s Tuesday drama “18/40: Dreams and Love If We’re Together.” True to its title, the song is crafted so that just by listening, you can picture a field of sunflowers under a clear summer sky.
Ado delivers a superb performance, employing a variety of vocal techniques and expressive singing, yet the melody itself doesn’t span a particularly wide range and is very easy to hum along to.
It’s also a great choice if you want to aim for a high score at karaoke.
If you sing it with clear contrasts between each section of the song, it’ll feel even better!
LoopKamishiraishi Mone

Mone Kamishiraishi is a female singer who is also active as an actress.
She’s a multi-artist who shines both on screen and in her songs.
Her hit track “Loop” is a perfect choice for scoring 100 points.
If I had to sum it up in one phrase, it feels like orthodox J-pop.
With the simple melodies and relaxed tempo characteristic of J-pop, it’s ideal for matching pitch in karaoke.
The vocal range isn’t too wide either, so give it a try.

A False Storychakura

Chakura is a girls’ band that’s been drawing attention lately in the Japanese rock scene.
They specialize in fresh, alternative rock reminiscent of ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION.
Among their songs, the one I especially recommend is Uso no Hanashi.
It features a straightforward, unadorned melody that epitomizes Japanese rock, and the vocal line is kept very simple as well.
There are no high notes, so if you’re aiming for a perfect score, definitely add it to your repertoire.
Nothing specialSakurazaka46

Among the Sakamichi groups, the idol group Keyakizaka46 is especially known for its stylish musicality.
While many of their songs are complex, their newly released track “Nothing special” is different.
It’s a mid-tempo piece with an impressive, grand arrangement, but it features numerous rests and gently flowing pitch movement, making it exceptionally easy to sing.
The vocal range isn’t exactly narrow, yet it doesn’t go particularly high either, so in many respects it can be considered a very singable song.
Be sure to add it to your repertoire.
Ambiguous Heart SpiceYUC’e

YUC’e is a female artist from Fukuoka—pronounced “Yuu-shie.” She’s a multi-artist who handles everything from track-making to production, and her catchy musical style has earned her popularity in subcultural circles.
Among her works, the one I especially recommend is Aimai Heart Spice.
To give an easy comparison, it has a vibe similar to YOASOBI’s Idol, but unlike Idol, the vocal range is narrower.
The vocal line follows a classic J-pop style, without complex pitch jumps, so it’s well-suited for aiming at a high score.
