The Tohoku University Festival is held every autumn at the Kawauchi-Kita Campus in Aoba Ward, Sendai. Each year, students submit entries for the festival’s theme song, the works are showcased, and a vote determines that year’s official theme song. There are also official mascot characters named “Peaton” and “Peeton.”
