A female vocal rock band that debuted in 2006.

They are characterized by vocalist Hītan’s distinctive husky voice.

The band name is said to come from a motto dating back to their indie days: form a “camp” (jin), become a “person” (hito) without forgetting “benevolence” (jin), become a “blade” (jin), and ultimately become a “god” (kami).

Togenashi Togeari is gaining attention as a new kind of girls’ band that fuses anime and reality.

Formed through the “Girl’s Rock Audition” held in June 2021, they’re known for a powerful sound rooted in emotional rock.

After releasing their debut single in May 2023, they performed the theme song for the original anime Girls Band Cry.

While also voicing the anime’s characters, they released their first album, “Toge Ari,” earning praise for their musicality.

Their collaboration with agehasprings on songwriting and their performance style—where each of the five members’ individuality shines—has won over many fans.

Their fifth solo concert at Pacifico Yokohama in February 2025 was a huge success.

Highly recommended not only for anime fans but also for music listeners seeking authentic girls’ band sounds.

Chilli Beans.

is a three-piece band made up of Moto, Maika, and Lily.

Formed in 2019, they’ve been active as one of the leading girl bands of the Reiwa era.

Their band name’s “Chilli” is derived from the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and they have strong Western music influences in their musical background.

You can hear it in their songs—from tracks with a Black music-inspired groove to ones with refined, high-sense melodic lines.

They’re a band whose style overturns the typical image of a three-piece girl band, so take this opportunity to give them a listen.

Menhera - 2019 ver -Mioyamazaki

Mio Yamazaki is a four-piece rock band formed in Tokyo in 2013.

They drew attention with a new approach by promoting the band through an app called “Majiyami Kanojo.” The vocalist, mio, is an active hostess, and many people resonate with her lyrics that depict the darker side of women.

Above all, her singing voice is wonderful! Don’t be put off by labels—give them a listen.

You’ll surely be captivated by their beautiful melodies and immersive world.

The guitarist, taka, is apparently called a “menhera manufacturing machine” by mio because his songs end up creating menhera girls.

Their signature song “Menhera” received a new version in 2019 to commemorate five million downloads of the app.
