Use stickers to give clear bags a Halloween theme!
A Halloween bag decorated with stickers and sequins on a clear bag is a craft that will stay useful even after Halloween thanks to its festive look.
First, stick Halloween-themed stickers on the inside of a transparent zip storage bag, then add glitter and sequins inside.
Use a glue gun to attach the storage bag to the inside of the clear bag, and finish by edging it with masking tape.
However, since glue guns get hot, make sure an adult does the work in a place away from children.
Candy basket made from cardboard
Even though it’s made of paper, this candy bag looks adorably stitched like fabric—want to try making a cute pumpkin version? First, draw a pumpkin on construction paper to create a template.
Next, use the template on cardboard and cut out two identical pieces.
For the bottom, use a long, narrow strip of cardboard: wrap it along the pumpkin’s side to measure the length, then cut it.
Once that’s done, feel free to draw decorations on the pumpkins and the bottom piece! When you’re finished, use an awl to punch holes at 1 cm intervals along the outer edge of the pumpkins and at both long edges of the bottom strip.
Attach paper string or yarn to the tip of a toothpick and stitch the pumpkins and the bottom together.
Add a ribbon for the handle, and you’re done! It looks just like it’s made from fabric—super cute!
