Candy bouquet gift

When it comes to gifts that make kids happy, sweets are a sure bet.
But just handing them over as they are can feel a little underwhelming, don’t you think? How about making a candy bouquet instead? Put the candies into a clear bag so they end up upside down, and insert a straw in the center.
Fold the bag’s corners into triangles and secure them with tape, then gather the bag tightly and tie a ribbon to finish.
If you decorate the bag with flowers or lace, it becomes an even cuter present.
Handmade card with washi tape garland

Perfect for expressing your feelings! Here are some handmade ideas for message cards.
The main design is a garland made with washi tape.
First, attach pieces of washi tape to a string at equal intervals.
Fold each piece of tape over the string so it sandwiches it, then trim the corners to make a flag shape.
Punch holes in the base card, thread the garland string through, and stick it down at a diagonal.
Add a photo of the child, write their name and your message, and you’re done!

Glue stick keychain
@salt_kosodate The trick to not failing is… heat control!! 1) The cleanest finish is with a hot water bath (but it takes time to melt!). 2) If you have an oven, check after about 2 minutes at 200°C and reheat if needed! ↑ I don’t have one, so I couldn’t test this 🙏 3) If you have a toaster oven, start checking after 1 minute on the lowest setting. Doing 2 sets of 1 minute at 170°C will almost completely melt it! If you heat it all at once, bubbles will form, so I recommend low and slow! It’s definitely better to make one test piece rather than jumping straight into the real thing 🙌🏻 Also, even if you pack it full, the glue volume will shrink a lot once it melts, so add clear glue partway through and aim to fill it so it’s just shy of overflowing the mold—then it turns out nicely 😊 Materials: • Glue sticks — having clear as well as colored is GOOD • Mold • Glitter • Screw eye pins (heaton) • Ball chain • Backing card When an adult’s help is needed: • Glue sticks are hard, so have an adult do the cutting • Right after heating it’s very hot, so adults should be careful too! • Attaching the screw eye pins is a bit tough, so it’s good for an adult to handle 😊 Other than that, let the child take the lead and just watch over the parts they can do—it’ll be fine! Hope you make a wonderful gift 🌟 Cost breakdown (about 300 yen): • Clear glue sticks: ~50 yen (half a pack) • Colored glue sticks: ~40 yen (less than half a pack) • Screw eye pins: ~10 yen • Chains: 200 yen (2 packs) ← This is the pricey part 😂#AtHomePlayEducationalwork#Graduation from kindergarten HandmadePresent

Some of you may have used a hot glue gun for bonding.
The glue sticks used in glue guns, however, aren’t just for sticking things together.
Try cutting the glue sticks into small pieces and placing them in an oven-safe mold.
Heat them in a toaster oven, then remove them once the glue has cooled and hardened.
You’ll have a cute charm that can also be used as a keychain.
Attach hardware and a chain to the charm to make it into a keychain.
If you add glitter to the mold before putting in the glue sticks, it will turn out sparkly and adorable.
Since you can make many at once, why not try making them as gifts for your friends?

If you have individually wrapped candies, this is a wreath you’ll definitely want to make.
Cut aurora paper into rectangles long enough to hold the candies.
Line up several individually wrapped treats inside the paper and wrap them up.
Tie the tube-shaped paper with ribbon at intervals to match the width of each candy inside.
Form it into a ring like a wreath, then add decorative bells and ribbons to finish.
It’s cute to look at and edible, so kids will have fun making it too.
This is a great project for using candies sold in large bags or leftover individually wrapped treats at home.
can badge

Let’s easily make them with a kit! Here are some ideas for pin-back buttons.
A pin-back button is a disc-shaped item made of materials like aluminum, typically with a safety pin or clip attached to the back.
They often feature characters or brand logos and are commonly enjoyed by attaching them to fabric items.
This time, let’s try making original pin-back buttons using a kit.
You can find button-making kits at 100-yen shops and similar stores, so give it a try!
Puffy magnets

I’m going to show you how to make irresistibly puffy, bubble-style magnets.
First, prepare round magnets that use a glass-like transparent material, and print your favorite character in a photo print sized to fit.
Next, insert a craft knife into the gap between the magnetic base and the glass portion to take the magnet apart.
Peel off the original illustration or film, and use a clear adhesive to attach your printed image to the glass piece.
Once it’s dry, trim any excess, then attach the magnet with double-sided tape and you’re done.
Using not only characters but also memorable photos or your own drawings will make this a heartwarming gift.
Give it a try!

Here’s a cute flower made with a pencil and candy.
The best part is that it’s not only adorable—you can eat or use it afterward.
It’s easy, so give it a try! How to make it: Cut a circle out of colored paper and fold it in half three times.
While it’s still folded, cut the outer edge into a petal shape.
Make a hole in the center of one of the pieces.
Stick the candy in the center of the piece without a hole, then tape a pencil to it.
Apply small pieces of double-sided tape around the outside, layer the two pieces of colored paper together, and you’re done.
