Heart Cracker

Here’s an introduction to a heart-shaped cracker launcher that’s perfect for events.

The pulling motion used to launch it also helps children practice the hand movement they need for dressing themselves.

Prepare a paper cup with a hole in the bottom and attach a balloon whose rounded top has been trimmed off.

Be sure to tie the balloon’s neck securely.

Then just put heart-shaped packing material inside the cup, and you’re done! When you pull the balloon’s neck, the hearts pop out like a party cracker.

It’s easier to clean up than confetti, so give it a try and have fun!

You’ll need an illustration, a clear pocket, decorative balls, tape, hair gel, a pen, and glitter.

Place the clear pocket over an illustration with an open mouth.

Trace the teeth onto the clear pocket with a permanent marker, then add hair gel, decorative parts, and glitter inside, and seal it with tape—that’s it! Children can practice brushing to move the “dirt” out of the mouth.

The unique texture of the hair gel will fascinate them.

@n.annlee321

I'll write the usable bottles and additional notes in the comments ☺️✨#tiktok video contest#tiktok classroomLife with children

Classic Medley 2019 – Pianica Magician

You can play without blowing! Enjoy soap bubbles using a plastic bottle.

The key is to prepare a soft plastic bottle that dents with a squeeze.

Cut a hole in the cap with scissors and insert the mouthpiece of a bubble wand into the hole—voilà, it’s ready in no time.

Dip the tip into bubble solution and squeeze the bottle to pump out bubbles.

This is a perfect idea for young children who might have trouble blowing bubbles or for kids who want to practice hand and finger movements.

Toothbrushing doll made using a milk can

@atsumichan774

To event coordinators! Good evening! I’m Atsumi, a nursery teacher. The crocodile that gets cavities in 100 days! This time, I made a perfect activity for Nursery School Cavity Prevention Day: a chomping crocodile tooth-brushing toy! Last time I used a tissue box, but this time it’s a milk-can version! The key point is to make the crocodile’s teeth out of whiteboard sheet. That way, you can draw germs on the crocodile’s teeth with a whiteboard marker. You can introduce it in a clear, fun way, like: “Oh no! What happened, Mr. Crocodile? You’ve got germs all over your teeth!” “Everyone—let’s brush them clean!” What we learned by playing: By the way, it turned out to be great for more than just toothbrushing play, haha. If you turn it into a raffle box, both kids and adults get super excited! Making it with a milk can keeps it from breaking easily and makes it nice and sturdy. Materials: • Milk can • Construction paper (green, red, white) • Whiteboard sheet (100-yen shop, Daiso) • Whiteboard markers • Whiteboard eraser • Straws for the toothbrush base How to make: 1) Cover the milk can with construction paper to make the crocodile’s body. 2) Make and attach the arms, legs, and tail. 3) Use the milk-can lid to create the crocodile’s face. 3) Make the crocodile’s teeth with whiteboard sheet. 4) Make the toothbrush. Idol – Invincible Perfect ver. – YOASOBI

Here’s an idea for making a toothbrushing doll using a milk can.

You’ll need colored construction paper, a milk can, whiteboard sheets, thick paper (cardboard), scissors, glue or double-sided tape, clear tape, whiteboard markers, a sponge, and a wooden skewer or chopstick.

Milk cans are sturdy and hard to break, so they’re great when you want to create something reusable.

Draw some “plaque” on the teeth made from whiteboard sheets, and let children brush it off with a toothbrush made from a sponge! It seems like there are plenty of ways to use this beyond just pretend toothbrushing play.

Race-to-the-top climbing game

Let’s make and play with construction paper! Here’s an idea for a “Race to the Top” game.

You’ll need construction paper, scissors, animal illustrations, glue, stickers, and tape.

First, cut the construction paper and tape the pieces together vertically.

Fold the paper to make creases, then fold the tip into a triangle and cut it off.

Attach the animal illustrations to the cut pieces, assemble them onto the construction paper, and you’re done! When you move the construction paper from side to side, the animal pictures climb upward.

Now, who can reach the goal the fastest? Give it a try!

Rouge’s Message (Kiki’s Delivery Service) – Carl Orrje Piano Ensemble

Here’s an idea for stretchy soap bubbles that lets you enjoy a unique, one-of-a-kind texture.

First, prepare a straw and a wet wipe.

Wrap the wet wipe around the tip and secure it with a rubber band.

Next, make a bubble solution by mixing water and dish soap, and pour it into a container.

Then dip the tip into the container and slowly lift it up.

You should see a chain of tiny bubbles appear, connected together.

The slightly sticky, mysterious look is really fun.

If you investigate why this happens, it can turn into a learning experience too.

Pull-ring toss

@n.annlee321

I shared it with photos on Instagram 🌸 My son was playing with a ring toss after attaching a string to it, so I named it the “pull ring toss” 😊#StayAtHomeSquadLife with children#tiktok classroomSummer Vacation Craft#HandmadeToys#AtHomePlay#StayHomeTime

♬ Nerd Strut (Instrumental) – Gen Hoshino

With this loop with a string attached, you can easily enjoy a ring toss game.

First, roll up some newspaper to make a ring.

Wrap it with vinyl tape from the outside to reinforce it.

It’s also recommended to decorate it by adding masking tape or similar on top.

Then, attach a piece of yarn or another string to the ring, and it’s complete! Use building blocks or crumpled newspaper as targets, place them in various spots, aim at the targets and toss the ring, then pull it back to yourself with the string.

Draw a line to clearly show where to throw from.

A new sensation! Shuriken you don’t throw! Here’s an idea for defeating yokai with a shuriken launching device.

It’s fun and fresh—shuriken you don’t even throw by hand! To make the launcher, prepare cardboard, wooden chopsticks, craft glue, and rubber bands.

Fold construction paper to make the target.

A device that lets kids who made their own shuriken play even more enthusiastically is really appealing, right? Adjust the size of the target to increase the difficulty!

Darkness Theater

@yopiko148

I made this darkroom theater quite a while ago. Sorry it’s not a how-to video. 🙇‍♀️💦#HandmadeToys#EducationalPlay#DarknessTheater

Hide-and-Seek (Chorus) – AliA

The spotlight is on the Anpanman-go’s light! Let me share an idea for a darkroom theater.

You’ll need a clear file folder, a pen, a straw, colored construction paper, thick cardstock, and black construction paper.

Lots of kids love make-believe adventures and explorations, right? This idea is great because it lets you enjoy exploring right in your room! If you say, “Where’s Anpanman?” they’ll move the Anpanman-go around to search for him! Give it a try and make one yourself.
