Let’s paint the ocean with PET bottle stamps

Let’s have fun creating an ocean scene using a plastic bottle cap stamp that even young children can enjoy easily.

The materials are super simple! All you need is construction paper, a plastic bottle cap, paint, and a paper plate.

Squeeze your favorite paint colors onto the paper plate, dab the plastic bottle cap in the paint, and then stamp it onto the construction paper—that’s it! Using two or three colors like blue and light blue makes it look beautiful.

Finally, attach shell and fish shapes made from construction paper that you prepared in advance to complete the artwork.

It’s also lovely to add motifs you folded yourself with origami.

Fireworks Craft (Ages 2–5): A Summer Project Using Toilet Paper Rolls

Let’s make stamps using toilet paper tubes and use them to paint fireworks.

You’ll need a few toilet paper tubes, black construction paper, paints, and a tray for the paint.

Draw guide lines on the tubes so you don’t cut too far, then use scissors to make fine cuts up to the lines.

After cutting, flare the cut sections outward.

Make several of these; if you vary the fineness and depth of the cuts to create different types, the final result will be more interesting.

Dip the stamps in paint and press them onto the black paper, and you’re done.

[Summer Wall Display] A Perfect Craft for July and August: Rhinoceros Beetles and Watermelons (for 3-, 4-, and 5-year-olds)

We’re introducing two summer favorites: rhinoceros beetles and watermelons.

For the watermelon, cut red and green construction paper into circles and glue them together.

Tear pieces of origami paper by hand and glue them on to create the watermelon pattern.

For the rhinoceros beetle, sharpen the horn shape and make crisp folds.

It’s also fun to fold a stag beetle along with it.

Finish by adding round sticker eyes.

Glue the watermelon and beetles onto a background sheet to enjoy the seasonal feel! A flip feature where a pattern appears when you lift the watermelon is also a fun touch.

Here’s how to make a paper-plate turtle that swims smoothly through the sea.

Get crayons, a paper plate, raffia tape, and scissors ready.

Color the paper plate with a green crayon.

Make slits around the edge of the plate, then weave the raffia tape through the slits to create the turtle’s shell pattern.
