fireworks
How about incorporating a summery fireworks motif into your wall decor? For a dynamic look, a semi-3D wall design is recommended.
Use construction paper to make several circles in different sizes and colors, then layer and paste them together.
Scatter ribbon curls evenly on top of the circles.
The key is to glue everything down firmly.
You can also add round stickers and star motifs to enhance the festive feel.
A sparkling fireworks wall will delight the children!
[Ages 3 and up] Rainbow Craft

Here’s a craft idea inspired by rainbows, featuring the beautiful light reflected through colored cellophane.
Stick small pieces of colored cellophane onto a rainbow-shaped template to enjoy a stained-glass effect.
Handling the colorful cellophane also helps children develop their sense of color.
For a more satisfying result, it’s recommended that adults prepare the rainbow template in advance.
That way, children can simply enjoy exploring colors.
Take the finished piece outside and let it catch the sunlight to appreciate its beauty even more.
Give it a try!
Handmade Uchiwa [Festival Mood]

Colorful uchiwa fans are a summer festival staple, aren’t they? Using the marble painting technique, kids can enjoy making bright, eye-catching fans all by themselves! They can carry them around and play with them on the day of the festival, or make lots and set up a little fan shop—that sounds fun too.
At summer festivals in preschool, whether outdoors or indoors, the heat is always a concern.
Having a fan they made themselves means they can cool off when it gets hot.
When helping them make their favorite fan, be sure to provide plenty of colors.
shaved ice

When the summer heat sets in, nothing hits the spot quite like shaved ice.
Its vividly colored syrups make it a great choice for summer wall decorations, too! You can create the ice portion, the bowl, spoon, and fruits by cutting construction paper.
For the syrup, you can paint directly with watercolors, or make a stamp using a piece of kitchen paper and a chopstick to dab on the color and achieve a soft, airy look.
If you’re decorating a wall, arranging items like an ice shaver and little flags alongside the shaved ice can help create the fun atmosphere of a shaved-ice stand.
Twisting Soap Bubbles

Let’s make twirling, sparkling bubbles that will captivate children! First, prepare eight long, thin strips of holographic origami paper.
Attach both ends of each strip to a straw so that the strips point in eight different directions.
Cut the straw, leaving only the sections where the holographic paper is attached at both ends.
Thread both ends onto a bamboo skewer or an even thinner straw, and secure them with tape to finish.
As you vary the speed at which you twist the handle, the shimmering bubble’s movement and shape will change, keeping children absolutely glued to its mesmerizing motion.
The cool, refreshing look is also perfect for this season.
silky beach

Summer-themed art projects and activities not only let children enjoy the season, they also nurture their imagination! Let’s try expressing a beach atmosphere through art to boost those summer vibes.
Kids can color freely on construction paper shaped like a beach umbrella, or tear tissue paper to resemble beach sand and glue it onto paper.
With their free ideas, what kind of beach will they create? Both children and teachers will be excited to find out.
It would also be lovely to display the children’s drawings or photos under the umbrella!
A Stroll by the Sea with the Boing-Boing Jellyfish

Jellyfish that swim all jiggly and fluffy are so cute, aren’t they? Let’s make a craft themed around those adorable jellyfish taking a stroll through the sea! To capture that jiggly jellyfish feel, it’s best to add a mechanism that creates movement.
After drawing a jellyfish on construction paper, attach an accordion-folded strip of paper behind it to act like a spring.
That way, when you touch it, the jellyfish will wobble and jiggle, making it fun for kids.
Around the jellyfish, draw fish and seaweed or add origami pieces to create a lively ocean scene.
When coloring the jellyfish, use paints with extra water to bring out their translucent look!
