Suntory CRAFT BOSS Milky Presso “New-New Morning: Part 1 (New-New Language)”Hana Sugisaki, Koji Yakusho, Ryunosuke Kamiki

Koji Yakusho, Hana Sugisaki, and Ryunosuke Kamiki star / Suntory “Craft Boss Milky Presso” new commercial: “New New Morning – Part 1”

From the performers’ tone, the atmosphere of the music used, and the gentle color palette of the entire commercial, you can really sense the product’s smoothness and creaminess.

You might be tempted to think it’s a foreign language because of the soft-sounding speech and the subtitles, but if you listen closely, it’s actually a unique concept where they’re simply speaking Japanese—in a gentle tone with some dialect—closely matching the subtitles.

The commercial unfolds with a gentle, calm vibe, yet when you look closely at the story and the dialogue, there are parts that don’t quite make sense—and that, too, may be part of what draws you into the ad.

“Kamikki-san’s Trace-and-Search: Kita-Kita!” VersionRyunosuke Kamiki

Ryunosuke Kamiki becomes a super-hyped hot-blooded youth; “Little Kamiki” also appears. New SUUMO CM: ‘Mr. Kamiki’s Trace-and-Search: It’s Here, It’s Here!’

In SUUMO’s commercial introducing the site’s feature that lets you trace an area on a map to search for places you want to live, Ryunosuke Kamiki makes an appearance! In a cramped house, Kamiki pedals a piece of exercise equipment, feeling all cooped up.

Wanting to run in a more spacious area, he uses SUUMO’s trace-to-search feature to draw a loop around a park.

When properties pop up from his traced area, Kamiki and Suumo excitedly exclaim, “This is it!” He moves into one of the places he finds—and even buys a bicycle so he can train outdoors to his heart’s content!

“Sea Otter” VersionRyunosuke Kamiki

Spring Sparkle Lottery – Otter Edition

This is the lottery commercial “Spring Kirakira Lottery: Otter” featuring the multi-talented Ryunosuke Kamiki.

With a very solemn expression, Kamiki approaches an otter lying on a table and says, “Let me show you some research findings,” then shows it a lottery ticket.

The moment the otter sees the ticket, it gets super excited, pounding the shell on its belly; but when the ticket is hidden, it’s like a different creature—going limp and completely unmotivated.

The dramatic highs and lows of the otter’s mood are hilariously over-the-top—enough to make you say, “That much?”—and the otter is oddly adorable throughout the ad.

One Piece Scratch: Zoro and the Sacred TreeRyunosuke Kamiki

One Piece Scratch: Zoro and the Sacred Tree

This is the One Piece Scratch lottery commercial titled “Zoro and Kamiki,” featuring Ryunosuke Kamiki.

Kamiki, holding a cell phone in each hand, is apologizing profusely.

Even while on the phone, he bows deeply to apologize, but a mountain of documents spills out of the backpack he’s carrying—it’s clearly “one of those unlucky days.” At that moment, he spots a lottery booth and mutters, “Maybe this is exactly when I’ll win….” Zoro then appears on the nearby screen and gives him a push of encouragement.

The playful back-and-forth between Kamiki and Zoro makes for a very pleasant commercial.

Mitsubishi Electric Room Air Conditioner “Kekun’s Passionate Talk: Emocotech Fresh” VersionRyunosuke Kamiki

Room Air Conditioner: 'Ke-kun’s Passionate Speech — Emokotech Fresh Edition (Winter Version)' [Official Mitsubishi Electric]

This commercial introduces how Mitsubishi Electric’s “Kirigamine” room air conditioner keeps your indoor space comfortable, along with the various features it offers to achieve that.

A character modeled after the small kana in “Kirigamine” (the ‘ヶ’) serves as the narrator—an eye-catching touch that also conveys the wish for viewers to remember it’s pronounced with a hard “ga” sound.

The scenes of Ryunosuke Kamiki focusing on his work also underscore that a comfortable temperature is being maintained.

Ku-chan’s Lucky LotteryRyunosuke Kamiki

[CM] Lottery: Lucky Ku-chan Lottery

This is the lottery commercial “Lucky Koo-chan Lottery” featuring Ryunosuke Kamiki.

Kamiki appears to be giving an important presentation as a salaryman… but for some reason, something seems a bit off.

His body starts to move slightly, in small jerks that gradually get bigger, until his body begins moving on its own and he can’t stop it.

His boss tells him to stop, but Kamiki, twirling his hands, says, “I’m just so excited!” Depending on how you look at it, it’s almost like he’s possessed by something (lol).

It’s a commercial that became a hot topic for Kamiki’s cute movements.

Spring First LotteryRyunosuke Kamiki

Spring First Lottery

This is a commercial for the lottery’s “Haru Ichiban-kuji” featuring Ryunosuke Kamiki.

Dressed like a scholar and speaking in a lecturing tone, he demonstrates a “method to keep a sloth from being lazy” by waving a lottery ticket in front of the sloth to tempt it.

The sloth starts dancing comically, then moves faster and even does shadowboxing-like moves.

Kamiki laughs and says, “Hard to believe, right?” It’s the kind of ad that makes you think you’d love to see a sloth like that if it really existed.
