Azalea WindUNISON SQUARE GARDEN

With its bright tempo and acoustic guitar, this exhilarating rock number captures the work’s worldview and will be included on the 21st single “Uruwashi/Azalea no Kaze,” releasing January 21, 2026.
It serves as the ending theme for the TV anime “Uruwashi no Yoi no Tsuki.” The hallmark of the unison parts is their clear high tones, making it ideal for those confident in their upper range.
Also, because the A melody sits quite low, it’s easy to strain the throat and then carry that into the chorus, causing you to push the high notes.
Aim to switch smoothly between low and high notes by keeping the same resonant placement without changing your focus.
AIZOKing Gnu

A song written specifically as the opening theme for the TV anime Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3, “Culling Game: Part 1.” Digital release on January 9, 2026, with the CD package out on February 11.
It’s a cutting-edge rock tune where a hyperactive melody intertwines with drum’n’bass at 190 BPM.
Compared to other tracks, it doesn’t rely on constant high notes with repeated falsetto, but its tempo and the key change in the final chorus stand out.
Since the same melodic line continues through the chorus, singing it too flatly can make listeners lose interest.
It’s important to add clear accents at the start and keep strong contrasts; try to keep in mind, “make the second time stronger than the first.”
Picaresque heroano

A high-velocity sound grounded in metal and hardcore.
As it’s the opening theme for the TV anime TRIGUN STARGAZE, the lyrics weave in themes of sin, fate, and personal philosophy to match the anime’s worldview.
Since ano also does death growls in the track, nailing those parts with full-on death voice really heightens the contrast.
Whatever voice you’re producing, if you don’t stay mindful of your vocal folds, you won’t last—so for death voice, resonate with the vocal folds, not the throat.
Place your hand in the hollow between your collarbones and imagine projecting a strong edge voice straight out from there.
It also works well to push out a burst of breath with a gritty, voiced “dakuon”-like texture.

TEST MEchanmina

This is the opening theme song for the third season of the TV anime “Oshi no Ko.” Centered on strong messages that sync with the series’ worldview—like “grudge” and “don’t test me”—it’s a fiery track that feels like a self-pep talk.
In the music video, visuals aligned with the lyrics unfold, from captivating performances to an intense midsection pas de deux, resulting in a piece packed with Chanmina’s allure and charisma.
Dynamic contrast is crucial; if you sing it too evenly, it could turn into a completely different song.
Especially in the chorus, exaggerating the accent on the first beat feels just right and lands stylishly.
The song itself is on the short side at 2 minutes and 51 seconds, so if you want to sing something intense, give it a try!
Fighting My WayHatsuboshi Gakuen, Giga, Hanami Saki

This is a character song from the game “Gakuen Idolmaster,” known as Gakumasu, and it’s the solo track by Saki Hanami, whom my student called the final boss! I’ve actually tried singing this at karaoke, but it’s definitely not a song you can sing just by listening to it casually! The tempo is fast and the melody keeps coming at you, so unless you really listen closely and get to the point where you can hum along, it’s pretty tough to actually sing.
In fact, Gakumasu has a lot of songs made by Vocaloid producers, so most of them are apparently quite difficult.
It’s a fun song to just listen to, but if you can sing it, it’s super cool and feels great! When memorizing the song, I recommend humming it.
Don’t force it from your throat—try humming lightly so that you feel the resonance between your eyebrows!
Bird Crossing the NightMISIA

The theme song for the WOWOW × Lemino serial drama “Kenzo Kitakata’s Water Margin,” digitally released on February 15, 2026, is a grand ballad with resounding strings that matches the drama’s epic worldview.
Its themes are believing, resisting, and surviving.
Lyrics by Nemuko Oikawa, who wrote the lyrics for “A Cruel Angel’s Thesis,” music by Tokiko Kato, and arrangement by Shiro SAGISU.
When you listen to it, you can really feel MISIA’s signature style.
The high chorus and long sustained notes are especially captivating.
Imagining a large hall with rich resonance, it’s best to sing boldly without over-fixating on pitch.
Dawnyama

While carrying on the worldbuilding established so far, yama takes on a new vocal expression in this “new frontier ballad.” Written as the theme song for Kyoko Saito’s first starring film, “Love Trial,” releasing on January 23, 2026, it’s a ballad that showcases a voice where strength and fragility coexist, portraying inner conflict swaying between dreams and happiness.
The tempo is very slow and the singing is breathy, which in turn puts one’s vocal ability to the test.
It’s important to sing each lyric carefully to avoid sounding sloppy.
Also, to enhance the breathy quality, being mindful to let the voice come out slowly will help create the right atmosphere.
