aroma wax bar

I’ll show you how to make aroma wax bars that are perfect as Christmas gifts! You’ll need an aromatherapy candle, a pot, silicone molds for confectionery, dried flowers, and string.

Here’s how to make them: First, melt the aromatherapy candle in a pot.

Once it becomes liquid, pour it into the mold.

Add the dried flowers and let it cool and harden.

After it sets, attach the string so it can be used like an ornament, and you’re done.

If you don’t have an aromatherapy candle, you can substitute a regular candle.

Since you’ll be using fire, be sure an adult is present to help.

Colorful Coaster

I’ll show you how to make photo-insert coasters that are perfect as Christmas gifts! You’ll need: transparent origami paper, nano tape, a clear file folder, cellophane tape, scissors, and your favorite photo.

How to make it: First, stick the transparent origami paper onto the nano tape.

Cut the clear file to the size of a coaster.

Put the photo inside.

If you secure the photo with a loop of cellophane tape on the back, it won’t move around.

Finally, cut the origami paper (that you stuck on the tape) to fit the border of the case, stick it on, and you’re done!

Christmas bag you can make without sewing

Christmas bag you can make without sewing

Let me introduce a super cute Christmas bag made with felt! It’s very easy because you can make it without sewing.

Materials: felt, scissors, wood glue, compass, string, and a hot glue gun.

First, set the compass to 4 cm and draw circles directly on the felt.

After drawing four circles, cut them out with scissors.

Also make any decorative pieces you like from felt.

Use white felt to make a beard.

Next, glue the decorative pieces onto one felt circle, then glue a second felt circle to the back.

Glue the remaining two circles together as well.

Cut a thin strip of felt that matches the semicircle of the round piece.

Attach the string to the edge with the hot glue gun, then attach the face piece and the plain felt piece, and you’re done! Fill it with candy or small gifts and enjoy!

Snow Wands

Kids love toys they can hold and play with.

With this “Snow Words” toy, when you shake it, the beads inside rattle and make a sound.

Please prepare a clear ball, bead cushion filler, an illustration, a wooden skewer (waribashi), and a straw.

When making a hole in the clear ball, be sure to open it right next to the tab.

Use an appropriate amount of bead cushion filler; if you put in too much, it may be hard to see the illustration inside.

Seal the opening tightly with vinyl tape and glue so nothing spills out.

It makes a wonderful gift, too.

magnet

Even after the Christmas season is over, magnets in festive shapes can serve as decor that brightens up your room.

You can easily make Christmas tree and wreath shapes by cutting air-dry clay with cookie cutters and painting them with acrylics once they’re dry.

Instead of varnish, try brushing on a layer of glue thinned with water to give them a glossy finish.

Finally, attach a magnet with glue, and you’ll have homemade magnets you can stick on your fridge—give it a try!

I’ll show you how to make an easy ornament that’s perfect for Christmas.

You’ll need shrink plastic (shrink film), a white oil-based pen, a round object like a toy capsule to trace, a hole punch, a favorite photo, ribbon or string, scissors, and glue.

First, trace a circle onto the shrink plastic.

Inside the circle, draw any design you like—such as snow—using the white oil-based pen.

Once you’ve drawn your design, cut out the circle.

Cut out your chosen photo and glue it onto the shrink plastic.

Punch a hole at the top, thread ribbon or string through, and you’re done! You can also use a favorite illustration instead of a photo for a fun variation.

Pine cone tree

Pine cone tree

Here’s an idea for making a small, cute Christmas tree using pinecones.

Firmly glue the pinecone onto a wooden base, then simply attach colorful beads between the scales of the pinecone.

In addition to beads, add glitter, sequins, and cotton to mimic snow.

You’ll also want to decorate the top of the tree with a star! A star made from wire or paper clay would be adorable.

You’ll end up with a unique, palm-sized Christmas tree that’s wonderfully cute.
