That’s why eggs, symbols of vitality, and rabbits, known for their strong powers of fertility, are used as Easter motifs.

This time, we’re sharing ideas for wall decorations to brighten up your Easter festivities.

From origami and construction paper to creations using fun techniques, these ideas are packed with ways to spark children’s curiosity!

Let’s make lots of colorful, pop-style bunnies and eggs to create a festive Easter atmosphere together with the kids.

Easter garland

Get into the Easter spirit with a colorful Easter egg and bunny garland! Cut colored construction paper into egg and bunny shapes, then use washi tape or stickers to decorate patterns on the eggs.

Once you’ve created a variety of Easter eggs—like striped, bordered, or polka-dotted—draw faces on the bunny pieces and attach them to the egg pieces.

Finally, punch two holes at the top of each egg and thread through some jute twine to complete an adorable decoration you’ll never get tired of admiring!

Handprint Rabbit

Introduction to Fun and Easy Easter Crafts [Nursery/Kindergarten]
Handprint Rabbit

This is a cute wall decoration featuring rabbits made mainly from children’s handprints.

Paint the palm with paint to make a handprint, use the fingers as the ears, and color the space between them pink.

Add colorful patterns around the handprint using finger stamps.

Draw eyes, a nose, and a mouth on the palm area, and your rabbit—with long ears as its charming feature—is complete! Since you’ll be taking handprints and using finger stamps, you can make it without holding any tools.

Be sure to include it in your craft time.

Origami Easter Bunny

Decorate your classroom wall cutely with Easter bunnies made from origami! Cut the origami paper in half and crease it in a cross.

Place it vertically with the back side facing up, fold the bottom edge, then flip it over and score the parts that will become the ears.

Make a cut in the center, shift the folds so the ears spread diagonally, and fold the corners of the face and ears to round them off—your origami bunny is complete! Finish by drawing eyes and a mouth, adding stickers, or attaching decorative ribbons.

Origami Easter Egg

These origami Easter eggs are cute, with a hint of color peeking through the cracked gap.

Prepare two sheets of origami paper and make the top and bottom of the cracked shell separately.

First, crease the diagonals on each sheet.

For the bottom piece, fold so that it has three jagged points; for the top piece, fold so that it has two points.

When you put the finished pieces together, the crack lines up perfectly! They look adorable on a wall, but you can also place them within children’s reach so they can mix and match the tops and bottoms of eggs with different patterns and play with them.

Three-dimensional Easter Rabbit

Three-dimensional Easter Rabbit

A three-dimensional wall decoration of an Easter rabbit, like a pop-up book.

Cut construction paper into egg shapes and draw your favorite patterns with crayons.

Make several identical pieces, fold each one with the patterned side inside, then glue the unpatterned sides together.

Adjust the shape so it opens nicely, and attach construction paper cut into rabbit ear shapes.

Your Easter rabbit is complete.

When children see the rabbit decoration popping out from the wall, they’ll be intrigued and won’t be able to resist touching it!

Vertical Easter decoration

This is an Easter hanging decoration featuring a chicken, chicks, and eggs.

Cut colored construction paper and glue the pieces together to make each part.

Then simply punch holes at the top and bottom of each piece and connect them with paper clips! Using this method, you can link a variety of motifs.

It would also look unique and charming if you hung children’s origami creations along with motifs related to Easter, such as chicks and eggs.

Easter egg

Easter egg

This is an Easter egg wall decoration where you can freely stick masking tape to create patterns.

On light-colored construction paper, such as cream or light green, draw an outline of an egg.

Then, start applying masking tape over it—vertically, horizontally, diagonally, and from various directions.

Once you’re done sticking the tape, simply cut along the outline, and it’s finished! Since you cut it into an egg shape after taping, it’s totally fine if the tape extends beyond the lines.

Why not enjoy tearing and sticking the masking tape together with the children as you make it?
