Heart-shaped carrot

Let’s decorate with carrots—rabbits’ favorite—together with the Easter Bunny! Prepare green and orange construction paper and cut each into strips.
Make the orange strips a bit longer.
Next, fold the green paper in half, shape it into a heart, and staple it.
Do the same with the orange paper to form a heart, then staple it together with the green piece you made first.
Finally, gently flatten and adjust the shape so it looks like a long carrot, and you’ll have adorable heart-shaped carrots all done!
Gimmick Easter egg

An adorable interactive Easter egg where a bunny or chick peeks out from inside the egg! Cut construction paper into the shape of a cracked eggshell and decorate it with your favorite patterned origami paper.
Attach it to a backing sheet so that it forms a pocket with a hollow inside, then slide in bunny-shaped cutout pieces—now you’ve got a motif of a bunny popping out of an egg.
You can also thread three egg-shaped papers together so they can slide, or attach the eggshell and chick so the chick appears the moment the egg “cracks.” There are lots of fun variations.
It’s a perfect idea for a pop-up style message card, too!
Flappy Egg

It’s a flip-open egg toy you can play with.
Cut two sheets of construction paper into circles using the circumference of a roll of packing tape as a guide.
Fold one sheet in half and place it on top of the other sheet.
With the overlapped part facing you, draw an egg on the top sheet.
Then turn it upside down, open the folded sheet, and draw a chick inside.
Use double-sided tape to attach the unfolded sheet to the packing tape roll.
On the folded side, attach a 10-yen coin and a piece of thread, then seal it with double-sided tape.
Finally, assemble the parts, and you’ve got a toy that flips open with a flutter every time the tape roll rolls!
Fold-Only Tulip
Let me introduce an easy “fold-only” tulip that also works as a three-dimensional wall decoration.
Prepare patterned origami paper, construction paper, crayons, glue, and scissors.
Cut the construction paper into circles in pairs and fold each circle in half.
By using construction paper in different colors, you can enjoy variations in the tulip’s flower color.
Glue the tulip’s center piece cut from the patterned origami together with the pair of folded petals, and your tulip flower is complete.
Draw leaves with crayons to create a springlike tulip!
rabbit

How about making the Easter bunny, a character from the spring holiday, out of origami? After folding the paper into a triangle twice, open the pockets on both sides and flatten it into a square.
Place it with the flaps at the top, then fold the top corner down to the bottom corner.
Flip it over and do the same—doesn’t it start to look like a bunny? The two triangles become the ears, so fold them in toward the center line on the left and right.
Shape the chin and ears to complete the face.
The body is a bit more complex to fold, so please work on it together with an adult or teacher.
Once you glue the face and body together, your cute bunny is complete!

The jagged cracked eggshells are so fun! Let me show you an Easter egg idea made with origami.
All you need is origami paper in your favorite colors and some pens or colored pencils.
When an eggshell cracks, the edges turn zigzag, right? This idea cleverly expresses that feature with origami.
The steps are clear and simple.
When you do the accordion folds, press firmly with your fingers to make crisp creases! Once your egg is finished, feel free to draw any facial expression you like on it!
Easter Bunny
@sachimama_asobi Easy one-sheet origami 💛 How to make an Easter Bunny Did you know Easter is on March 31 this year? ✨ Easter is the celebration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ—also known as the Resurrection Festival. When you think of Easter, you think of eggs and bunnies, right? I made a bunny that looks like it’s saying “Hello!” from inside an egg 🥰 It’s super easy, so give it a try 💓 I thought mixing materials would be cute, so I added a ribbon I found in the craft section at Daiso, but of course it’s fine without one! You can cut and paste pieces of origami, or make a tiny ribbon from origami like I posted before—that would be cute too ✨ +——————————————+ I’m Sachi, a mom of three boys aged 8, 6, and 2, in the midst of lively chaos ❀´- I share simple crafts and play ideas with kids using 100-yen items, natural materials, and recyclables. The rounded shape is so cute! Let me share an idea for making an Easter bunny with origami.
All you need are origami paper, white round stickers, pens or colored pencils, and decorations like ribbon.
It’s an adorable Easter bunny, and the best part is you can make it with just one sheet of origami paper! The key features are the plump, egg-like body and the perky, long ears, so be sure to make crisp folds as you go.
Once it’s finished, attach the little white round-sticker hands and draw the facial expression!
