Easy for Elementary School Kids! A Cute Collection of Felt Mascot Craft Ideas (31–40)
Felt Snow Golem

This is a mascot of the Snow Golem from Minecraft, made by combining pieces of felt.
Since it’s a character that evokes a seasonal feeling, it would also be a great fit for seasonal celebrations.
Cut the felt into identical squares with perfect right angles in mind, and assemble the character while considering left-right symmetry.
If it doesn’t hold its shape well, try layering the felt or inserting a piece of cardstock inside.
When sewing or gluing, focus on keeping the corners crisp.
Felt turtle
Sea turtles on the sandy beach are creatures many people go looking for, since you can craft a turtle shell that lets you breathe underwater using the turtle scutes they drop.
Kids might simply want to see sea turtles because they love them.
So why not try making a turtle doll out of felt? Small ones can be held, played with, or displayed, and larger ones might even work as cushions! Felt is sold at 100-yen shops, so try making one and giving it as a gift.
Felt Creeper

This craft project uses felt to assemble a Creeper, one of Minecraft’s most iconic characters.
Larger sizes can be hard to make stand, so I recommend making it as a cute, palm-sized mascot.
The key is to carefully measure each face and cut the felt accordingly; precise dimensions help convey the character’s inorganic feel.
It’s also important to keep the left and right sides perfectly symmetrical and to join the pieces in a way that keeps the corners from becoming rounded.
A rabbit plush made from fleece

Using fleece fabric that looks and feels soft, let’s make a palm-sized stuffed bunny.
The key is how you construct the body: cut the fabric into the shape you want, embroider the facial expression, sew the pieces together, then stuff them with cotton and shape as you go.
The way you stuff it will change the overall roundness and softness, so it’s a good idea to focus on this to create your own unique bunny.
After that, attach parts like the hands, feet, and ears, and finish it so it looks like a bunny, and you’re done.
It can also be fun to change the fabric color and the shapes of the parts to add originality.
No-sew felt puppet

Recommended for craft beginners too! Here are ideas for felt puppets you can make without sewing.
If you’re making puppets by hand, beginners might feel it seems “difficult” or “a lot of work.” However, by using felt, you don’t have to worry about fraying edges, and it’s easy to make! What you’ll need: felt, double-sided tape, a glue gun, scissors, paper, clips, and a pencil.
The designs can also be used for toothbrushing guidance, so be sure to give them a try.
