Bending a paper spoon

Educational Magic “Paper Spoon Bend” – A big hit at daycare, kindergarten, and elementary school events! ‘Educational Magic’ for kids’ clubs and after-school programs, too.
Bending a paper spoon

Spoon bending is a classic in magic.

What we’re introducing here is a twist on it: the “paper spoon bend.” It uses a single sheet of paper with a spoon illustration.

Place it on your hand and—like magic—the drawn spoon slowly starts to bend.

There’s only one trick to this effect: instead of ordinary paper, use tracing paper.

Because tracing paper is very thin, when you place it on your hand it absorbs moisture from your palm and naturally bends.

It’s a magic trick you can do easily!

Does the picture change underwater?!

When you put a sheet of paper with a drawing of a lion into water, the picture changes even though you didn’t erase anything! This is a magic trick recommended for people who like science and physics, using the principles of light.

When we look at things in everyday life, light plays a crucial role without us even noticing.

This trick uses the phenomenon of total internal reflection to create an optical illusion, making it look as if the drawing has changed.

It’s a fun magic trick that lets you enjoy a science experiment!

Fluffy human levitation magic

[Revealed] A fluffy, floating body!? Explaining three levitation magic tricks anyone can do! Magic trick explanation revealed
Fluffy human levitation magic

It’s a levitation magic trick where you drape a cloth over a person, project “psychic power” onto the cloth, and the cloth rises—making it look like the person inside is floating.

The secret is that the person inside only appears to be lying on their back; when the cloth is placed over them, they actually turn face-down, and when the “psychic power” is applied, they push up into a position like a push-up.

It takes showmanship to make it convincing—such as making it look like they’re gradually rising or extending their legs.

A rubber band that warps instantly

A rubber band teleports!? The world's simplest magic trick using a rubber band
A rubber band that warps instantly

This is a magic trick where a rubber band seems to teleport right before the spectator’s eyes.

Set it by doubling a rubber band around your index and middle fingers.

Next, make a fist, but before you do, momentarily move your hand out of the spectator’s line of sight and shift the band so it’s hooked over all four fingers except your thumb.

Then simply show your hand again and open it—the trick is complete! The key is to quietly reposition the rubber band so the setup isn’t noticed.

It’s easy even for beginners, so practice until you can perform it with natural, casual movements that won’t arouse suspicion.

A straw placed on a plastic bottle moves on its own.

[1-Minute Reveal] A straw starts moving on its own—magic that looks like editing (you can do it right now)
A straw placed on a plastic bottle moves on its own.

It’s a magic trick where a straw placed on top of a plastic bottle begins to move slowly even though you’re not touching it when you hold your hand over it.

The key is to firmly pinch the straw, rub it as you take it out, and build up static electricity.

Once you set it on the bottle and bring your hand close, the static electricity reacts and the straw starts moving.

If you rub it with a tissue to store even more static electricity, you can increase the rotation speed, so that’s recommended too.

a water bottle that doesn’t spill

[Magic Revealed] Easy Magic Kids Can Do! “The Water-Doesn’t-Spill Plastic Bottle” [#TryItAtHome][#StayHome]
a water bottle that doesn't spill

The plastic bottle is filled to the brim with water.

If you tilt it, of course the water spills out, but if you turn it upside down all at once and let go… for some reason, not a drop comes out.

Then when you poke a toothpick in, it slides smoothly into the water, and after a little “magic spell,” the water suddenly gushes out and spills everywhere.

It looks like a very mysterious and difficult trick, but the secret is actually very simple.

Prepare a piece of clear file (plastic sheet) cut to fit the bottle’s mouth, and make a hole with a thumbtack big enough for a toothpick to pass through; just hold this in your hand opposite the one holding the bottle.

Thanks to water’s suction, it sticks tightly and won’t come off as long as you don’t move the bottle around.

Pretend to cast a spell and give the bottle a shake, and that’s what makes the water come out.

Magic using a box that appears and disappears

[For birthdays♪] Easy magic tricks that pop out of a box [For Christmas parties♪]
Magic using a box that appears and disappears

It’s a mysterious magic trick where objects appear and disappear from inside a box.

First, prepare a box that’s open only on the bottom, and another box made by cutting and gluing together tissue boxes, decorated with anything you like such as cakes or ghosts.

In the trick, a cake suddenly appears from a box that seemed to be empty.

The secret is that there’s a small magnet attached to the back of the cake decoration, and the performer also has a magnet attached to their hand.

When the two magnets are brought together, it looks like there’s nothing inside the box; when the magnets are separated, the cake appears.

Because the effect is simple, it tends to be a big hit with children.
