Super Easy Magic Tricks Kids Can Do! Fun Tricks You Can Play Right Away (31–40)
A paper ball floating in midair

Prepare a sheet of drawing paper and crumple it up right in front of you.
Then you can perform a magic trick where the crumpled paper appears to float in midair.
The secret is to wrap the paper around the thumb of one hand as you crumple it—a simple thumb-tip style trick! By moving your other fingers in a convincing way, it looks like the paper ball is floating.
It might be a trick that requires some acting skill.
Ring drop with cat’s cradle

Cat’s cradle has always been a favorite with little kids, past and present.
Combine it with magic, and it’s sure to be a hit! In this trick, you start a cat’s cradle with a string threaded through a ring, but when you release your fingers, the ring slips off on its own.
The key is that the last finger you remove is different for the right and left hands.
Try removing them so the string remains on the middle finger of your right hand and the index finger of your left hand.
Resurrecting tissues

The magic trick where a torn tissue seems to restore itself is recommended because you can perform it with everyday items.
You make it look like you’re tearing the tissue in the middle, but the secret is that you’ve been hiding a torn-off piece from the start, so even children can try it easily.
The key points are to keep the torn piece hidden behind the tissue so the audience can’t see it, and to perform as quickly and accurately as possible so nothing feels off.
If you fumble, the secret may be revealed, so stay calm during the actual performance.
stretching finger(s)

It’s a magic trick where you cross your index fingers and rub one of them…
and the finger you’re rubbing seems to stretch.
Of course, the finger isn’t actually getting longer—the secret is that the viewer’s eyes are fooled.
The key is to keep the hand that’s doing the rubbing still.
Since you don’t need any props, it’s a trick you can perform anywhere.
Magic using a paper bag

This is a magic trick where various items come out of an empty paper bag.
You take out the paper bag and show it to everyone.
Then you fold it in half, hold it between your hands, and let them confirm that there’s nothing inside.
Next, you open the bag and put your hand in…
and something comes out! The secret is that you’ve made a hole in the back of the bag, so you can slip your hand through it, grab something from your pocket, and bring it into the bag.
The key is to use items that fit in your pocket and aren’t too heavy.

The pen to the eraser

The magic trick where a pen instantly turns into an eraser is easy for kids to try, since you can do it even during school breaks.
Hold a pen in one hand and secretly palm an eraser in the other.
As you bring the pen over to the hand with the eraser, hide the pen with the hand that was holding it, while bringing the eraser into view.
The method is simple, but since each hand has to perform a different action at the same time and you must conceal the switch from the audience’s angle, it’s a good idea to practice in front of a mirror.
The longer you keep the object hidden, the more likely you are to get caught, so speed is essential for this trick.
The color of the water changes in an instant.

A clear bottle of water suddenly turns into colored water just by shaking the bottle—this is the magic trick.
The secret is that paint is applied to the inside of the bottle cap, and when you shake the bottle, the paint dissolves into the water, turning it into colored water.
If you cap the bottle immediately after applying the paint inside the cap, it may drip, so letting the surface of the paint dry a little helps it stick to the cap.
It’s even more fun if you prepare several bottles and do it with different colors!
