[Magic Revealed] Easy Magic Kids Can Do! “A Ping-Pong Ball Riding on a Ruler” [#TryItAtHome]
A ping-pong ball riding on a ruler

If you try to place a ping-pong ball on a ruler, it’s unstable and just rolls off, right? But in this magic trick, the ping-pong ball sits on the ruler—and you can even make it move as if you’re controlling it.

The ruler is transparent, so you can see through it and it doesn’t look like anything suspicious is attached.

The secret is that this “ruler” is actually two identical rulers stuck together.

Tape the bottom edges together with cellophane tape and open the top slightly; then the ping-pong ball can sit on it with ease.

It’s great because you can get everything you need at a 100-yen shop.

non-dropping chopsticks

[Revealed] Easy and Practical! Chopstick Magic #shorts
non-dropping chopsticks

This is a magic trick where you hold two wooden chopsticks—one in each hand—between your thumb and index finger, stack them, rub them together, and then release the supporting thumbs without the chopsticks falling.

Because of the rubbing step, it might look like static electricity is involved, but that’s a fake.

In reality, you make small cuts with scissors on the holding ends of the chopsticks and pinch them with your fingers to add stability.

Others won’t be able to copy it with ordinary chopsticks, so it’ll definitely leave them puzzled.

However, if someone sees the modified chopsticks, the trick will be exposed, so be sure to hide them well.

The mark on the disposable chopsticks has shifted.

[Magic Class] Anyone Can Do It Right Away: The Mark on the Chopsticks Disappears! Secret Revealed (Magician Noboru)
The mark on the disposable chopsticks has shifted.

This is a magic trick where you send “energy” to a disposable chopstick, causing a mark to appear on both sides; then when you rub it with your other hand, the mark vanishes from the chopstick and transfers to your hand.

The method is very simple: first, draw the same mark on one side of the chopstick and on your palm.

By skillfully rotating the chopstick with the fingertips of the hand holding it, you secretly flip it to show the side you want.

Key points are to rotate it with minimal movement so the finger action isn’t noticed, and to use misdirection so the audience’s gaze doesn’t focus on the hand holding the chopstick.

Does your head spin 360 degrees?!

[Magic / Sleight of Hand] W2529 Rotating Head Illusion
Does your head spin 360 degrees?!

It’s a magic trick where you put a box with a hole over your face and spin the box, making it look like your head is rotating too! The secret is simple: since your face is only visible through the hole for an instant, you move your face in sync with the box’s rotation.

If the performer is a girl with long hair, it can give away that the head isn’t actually turning, so the key is to keep the neck area hidden.

The mechanism is relatively easy to make, so it’s also fun as a craft project.

Move a straw with telekinesis

Easy [Magic] 'Move a straw with telekinesis' #magic #challenge #shorts
Move a straw with telekinesis

This is a magic trick that makes it look like you’re moving a straw on top of a plastic bottle with telekinesis, without touching it.

Here’s how: First, prepare a straw in a paper bag.

When you take the straw out, pinch it and pull it out to build up static electricity.

Once placed, the straw will move just by bringing your hand close to it, so it’s sure to amaze your audience.

The method is simple enough for anyone to try, but be careful—while the straw is charged, it will react the same way to anyone’s hand, so make sure no one ruins the show by getting too close.

The pen is floating.

The pen is floating.

It’s a mysterious magic trick that makes a pen look like it’s floating in midair, with no gimmicks or props needed at all! The key is just how you hold the pen.

When you interlace your fingers, leave only your thumbs and ring fingers out so they can move freely.

Then pinch the pen with your ring finger and sway it; when you show it to your audience, just pinch it with your thumb and open your hands—success! It’s a method you could figure out if you think about it, but at first glance it’s surprisingly convincing.

Since precise finger movements are essential for many tricks, it’s a good basic technique to master.

Rubber Band Linking Magic

Rubber Band Linking Magic

It’s a magic trick where you hold a rubber band in each hand, simply cross them, and the two bands appear to link together—and then, with another puff of air, they return to normal.

The secret is that there’s a catch point on one of the rubber bands.

You push a thumbtack through one rubber band and cut off the head of the tack with pliers.

Then you just hook the other rubber band onto the protruding pin.

As long as you set up the gimmick, it’s an easy trick to perform.
