The ball placed in the box disappears.

An ordinary white square box, with nothing but a round hole in the lid.

If you drop a ball into that hole, it should go into the box, right? But in this magic trick, when you look inside the box next, the ball that should be there has disappeared! The trick is actually very simple: the bottom of the box is designed to flap and create a hollow space.

If you lightly press from the back with your finger, the bottom overlaps with the side, so when you put the ball in, the bottom is effectively open.

Then you just slide the box to drop the ball under the table, and before showing the inside, you restore the bottom to its original position.

That’s all there is to it.

Simple magic! Appearance of a wand!

This is a cane magic trick where you make a cane appear out of nowhere.

Rather than just producing it, you make it feel even more mysterious by spinning and displaying the cane after it appears.

Spinning it also makes the method harder to figure out, so it’s a recommended approach for those who don’t want the secret to be exposed.

Pop a balloon with a cotton swab

Pop a balloon with a cotton swab

This is a magic trick anyone can easily master: popping a balloon with a cotton swab.

Naturally, if you poke a balloon with something sharp, it will pop.

But if you poke it with something soft like a cotton swab, it normally shouldn’t.

However, with a certain method, you can pop a balloon just by touching it with a cotton swab.

The method is to soak the tip of the cotton swab in orange oil.

That’s because limonene, a component found in oranges, dissolves the balloon.

By the way, you can also reproduce this using an actual orange instead of the oil.

Magic where a face illustration stretches

Face-stretching: Three easy magic tricks revealed that kids will love — 3 easy magic tricks tutorials.
Magic where a face illustration stretches

This is a comedic magic trick where, when you hold your hand over a sheet of paper with a character illustration, the character’s face stretches.

The method is very simple: prepare the stretched face parts separately, hide them inside your hand, and then place them onto the illustration at the same moment you cover it with your hand.

Make a slit at the character’s neck in the illustration so you can insert the stretched face.

Because the gimmick is simple, make sure to get laughs from the striking contrast between the illustration before and after the stretch.

Magic newspaper! A magic trick where the handkerchief placed inside a newspaper disappears.

It’s a magic trick where you push a handkerchief into a rolled-up newspaper using a magic tube, blow on it, and when you open the newspaper, the handkerchief you put in has vanished.

The key is the magic tube used to push it in: it actually retrieves the handkerchief that’s draped over the newspaper.

Beforehand, place a thin stick like a chopstick inside the magic tube.

After rolling the newspaper, secretly transfer this stick from the tube into the newspaper.

Then place the handkerchief so it covers the stick, and use the tube to take both the handkerchief and the stick back into the tube.

To avoid suspicion about the tube, it’s recommended to show the inside a few times at moments when neither the handkerchief nor the stick is inside.
