Easy magic tricks kids will love: surprising to watch and fun to try (91–100)
Hand power

A simple magic trick that kids and adults can enjoy: hand power! Just by sweeping your hand, you can create a strong gust of wind that moves paper or light objects, instantly capturing children’s interest.
Seeing little spectators widen their eyes in surprise might make you grin without even realizing it.
With practice to master the timing, anyone can create a moment where they become a real magician.
When you’re performing in front of kids at a party or event, this trick is sure to grab everyone’s attention! Give it a try and enjoy their amazed expressions.
The coin placed in the hat disappears.

A great trick for people who usually wear caps is a magic trick where a coin placed in a hat disappears.
All you need for this trick is a 500-yen coin and a cap.
First, turn the cap upside down and put the 500-yen coin inside.
Then turn the cap over again and make it look like you’ve transferred the coin into your palm.
In reality, you hide the coin in the space along the cap’s brim and don’t move it to your hand.
Finally, when you show your palm, it looks as if the 500-yen coin has vanished.
a water bottle that doesn’t spill

A mysterious magic trick where even if you turn a water-filled plastic bottle upside down, nothing spills! It’s just like magic! Of course, there’s a secret to it.
When the plastic bottle is placed on the palm, a round piece cut from a clear file is attached to act as a lid.
It looks like there’s nothing there when the toothpick goes in, but there’s actually a hole in the center of the clear file for the toothpick to pass through.
While the audience is focused on the toothpick, if you give the bottle a light shake, the lid will fall along with the water, so it’s likely to go unnoticed!
Guess the card your opponent drew

Playing cards have a kind of mysterious vibe—as if they give off a magical feel just as they are.
How about mastering one card trick using such cards? Once you get the hang of the shuffle, anyone can do this trick.
Even kids can do it!
A teleporting eraser

This is a trick I plan to keep as part of my permanent repertoire: a magic trick where a ring vanishes in an instant and then reappears.
You can even do it with an eraser case, and it requires no setup—you can perform it on the spot.
I don’t really want to reveal the secret, but here it is: you pretend to hold the ring that’s on your index finger, but actually you’re gripping your middle finger.
Watch the video for details, practice, and give it a try.
