La Bamba (Instrumental/Arrangement)Nakajima Yasuo

Here is the commercial for Honkiri™ Chuhai featuring the upside-down can.
To highlight the abundance and juiciness of the fruit, it’s set in an orchard.
The famous song playing in the background, La Bamba, is performed by guitarist and composer-arranger Yasuo Nakajima.
In addition to providing songs for artists, he has composed and arranged music for many commercials, so many of you have likely heard his work.

It has been widely loved, with many musicians covering it, including Ken Hirai, Superfly, and Kobukuro.

This song was released in 1972.
In addition to being the original song for Aya Matsuura’s Pocky commercial, it was also used in 2013 as the commercial song for Kirin Beer’s “Sumikiri.” Many people may also know it as the theme song of the M-1 Grand Prix.

Little Brown Jugtsutsumi shinichi

As the title suggests, “Little Brown Jug” is a jazz standard derived from alcohol.
First published in Philadelphia, USA, in 1869, it has since become a well-known song included in school textbooks as a folk tune.
In Japan, it became widely recognized through its use in Kirin Ichiban Shibori commercials.
The song carries a message along the lines of: no matter how tough things get, let’s draw a little strength from a drink and keep going! It’s a joyful, upbeat, and powerful number that perfectly fits this commercial series.
Tea For TwoMoriyama Naotaro

Noriyaro Moriyama and Issei Takahashi perform “Tea for Two,” a song used in the musical No, No, Nanette that later became a jazz standard famously sung by Doris Day.
Hearing Issei Takahashi’s awkward piano playing reminds me of my elementary school homeroom teacher, who could only play about three chords.
Every day is special.Takeuchi Mariya

This song was written in 2001 as the theme for Fuji TV’s “Mezamashi TV.” It has become established as a refreshing, positive anthem supporting everyday life, and in 2007 it was also used as the commercial song for Sony’s Handycam.
