Kirin is a beverage manufacturer that handles a wide variety of drinks, from alcohol to soft drinks.
In beer, there’s Tanrei and Hon-Kirin; in chu-hi, Hyoketsu; and in soft drinks, Afternoon Tea and Kirin Lemon—its lineup is packed with popular products.
You also see their commercials on TV quite often, don’t you?
Kirin’s commercial songs sometimes use existing tracks as tie-ins, of course, but there are also many cases where the featured performers sing parody versions, or popular songs are reinterpreted as acoustic self-covers—unique versions you can only hear in the commercials.
In this article, we’ll introduce a whole selection of Kirin commercial tracks that many viewers have been curious about.

[Covers and Parodies Are Appealing Too] Kirin Commercial Songs [2026] (91–100)
The Blue Danube
In the Karada FREE commercial featuring Nao Matsushita, an arranged version of the classical staple “The Blue Danube” is used, but unfortunately the arranger has not been announced.
Vocals have been added to the melody, and the lively percussion beats make it a bright and cheerful pop-style arrangement! The original is performed by an orchestra and is impressive for its powerful sound, but this kind of poppy, catchy rendition is also very approachable and easy on the ears.
Little Brown Jug

This features Nicole Fujita talking cheerfully about Kirin Ichiban Shibori Yawaraka Shitate.
Because it shows only her happily sharing her impressions, her positive words come across directly.
The background music is “Little Brown Jug,” and its familiar, light melody strongly highlights Nicole Fujita’s bright expressions and narration.
NO EXCUSEB’z

It’s a song included on B’z’s 19th original album, released in 2015.
It was used in a commercial for Kirin’s “Smirnoff Ice” and was written specifically for the ad.
Takahiro Matsumoto, who composed the music, said it was easy to create because the tie-in requested a specific style—“a beat like this,” and so on.
Conversely, Koshi Inaba, who wrote the lyrics, said it was difficult because there were no requests regarding the words.
My Past Life, Many Lifetimes AgoRADWIMPS

This commercial, featuring Ayami Nakajo dressed in attire reminiscent of early modern European nobility, is for Kirin’s Gogo no Koucha (Afternoon Tea).
It portrays her reflecting on the connections between people that have been woven together with tea since the birth of afternoon tea culture, depicting what the CM’s title calls “What Tea Has Connected.” The background music is an orchestral arrangement of RADWIMPS’ “Zenzenzense,” which beautifully expresses one of the commercial’s themes: transcending time.
Starlight ParadeSEKAI NO OWARI

In the “Stars” installment of GREEN JUKEBOX, a popular commercial series for Tanrei Green Label, SEKAI NO OWARI’s Fukase appears.
He performs an acoustic, self-accompanied rendition of his hit song Starlight Parade on bass.
With a gentle sound and vocals that are utterly captivating—just as Mikako Tabe seems enchanted—it has a charm that makes you swoon.
Let’s go see (someone).UA

This commercial, supported by KIRIN and JR Central, portrays a summer where, for the first time in four years, people can go see those they’ve been longing to meet.
It strikingly depicts the excitement building just before heading home and the lively reunions with friends at their destinations, powerfully conveying the joy of everyday life returning to normal.
A key point is the use of “Little Brown Jug” and “Let’s Go See,” tracks featured in each company’s commercials.
The buoyant feel of “Little Brown Jug,” which conveys a skipping heart, and the refreshing sound of “Let’s Go See,” which evokes expansive scenery, harmonize in a memorable way.
Spring ~Destiny~Uru

This is a commercial for Afternoon Tea featuring scenes of various clubs recruiting on university entrance ceremony day.
It shows Ren Meguro watching two freshmen who meet after one picks up the other’s dropped welcome-event flyer.
The line “Sometimes you meet friends for life on a spring afternoon” likely brought back memories of youth for many adults.
This spring-themed commercial features Uru’s song “Haru ~Destiny~,” a wonderful track that portrays the encounters that come with spring.
