Beyond the goodbyeMatsushita Kohei

This is a digital-only single by Kohei Matsushita, released in June 2023.
It was broadcast on NHK’s “Minna no Uta” during the June–July 2023 slot.
Every element that makes up the song—its style, lyrics, arrangement, and Matsushita’s own vocals—is wrapped in a heartwarming atmosphere that makes you feel gentle just by listening.
Because it’s such a tender piece, the vocal melody is crafted so that anyone can hum along with ease.
Please relax, sing softly, immerse yourself in the song’s world, and enjoy.
Be careful not to let your voice or singing become rough.
POISONHotei Tomoyasu

When it comes to songs everyone knows and can belt out the chorus to, “POISON” is the one.
Its intense, straight-ahead groove lets even those who struggle with keeping rhythm power through on sheer momentum.
The key isn’t very high, so even people who aren’t confident singers will be fine!
Don’t cry, Glory Moon.Saitō Kazuyoshi

Kazuyoshi Saito is a singer-songwriter with a refined musical style who’s popular across a wide range of age groups.
You can hardly look at karaoke history without seeing one of his songs.
Among his catalog, the new track “Naku na Glory Moon” is especially recommended.
Its vocal range is narrow and there aren’t complex melodic leaps, making it very easy to sing, with no particularly difficult sections throughout.
It’s especially suitable for men who struggle with high notes, so it’s a perfect pick for listeners in their 30s and up.
OtonokeCreepy Nuts

Creepy Nuts’ new song “Otonoke.” Following “Bring-Bang-Bang-Born,” it’s another hit and has been racking up staggering streaming numbers since its release.
Surprisingly, this track is one of the easier Creepy Nuts songs to sing.
Of course, it has the challenges typical of rap, but it’s not exactly a fastest-rap piece, and the flow is relatively gentle.
Considering how well it would go over at karaoke, it’s definitely worth learning.
Be sure to check it out.
DoraemonHoshino Gen

This is Gen Hoshino’s 11th single, released on February 28, 2018.
It was created as the theme song for the film Doraemon: Nobita’s Treasure Island and later became the theme song for the TV series as well, so many of you may have heard it on your TV screens.
Perhaps because it was made as the theme for a children’s animated movie, it has a very straightforward, catchy, and friendly melody—one that I think is very easy for anyone to sing.
Rather than overthinking it, it might be best to simply enjoy it together with everyone present, like a sing-along!
one difficultyPenthouse

Penthouse is a band formed in 2018.
They describe their genre as city soul, characterized by a sound that blends city pop with Black music.
Among their songs, the one I especially recommend for men is Ichinan.
It features a chord progression that closely resembles Grover Washington Jr.’s Just the Two of Us, which is frequently used in recent J-pop, so the melody is exceptionally catchy.
Because they have both male and female vocals, the range is fairly wide, but since it’s a song you can sing a bit roughly, I think it’s easy for men to sing.
that paper airplane19

A male folk duo, 19’s second single, released in March 1999.
The original singers’ voices are very simple and friendly, and the melody is easy to remember, so even if you sing this song at karaoke, there probably won’t be many parts you find difficult.
Just be careful not to let the brief falsetto part right before the chorus sound weak—switch your voice smoothly as you sing.
If you relax and let the falsetto come out gently without forcing it, you should be able to sing it nicely!
