This is the New Year’s Day version of Cup Noodles Tantanmen that became a hot topic as a parody of the ’90s commercial for the energy drink Dadan.
Aired on New Year’s Day 2024, the ad plays on the rhyme between “tantan” and “gantan” (New Year’s Day in Japanese), with comedian Nakayama Kinnikun repeating it over and over with an indescribable expression, which is irresistibly funny.
