This is Nomura Securities’ 2017 commercial, “Ask Nomura: The Highest Compliment.” Kentaro Sakaguchi plays a new employee at Nomura who becomes flustered when elderly clients—a gentleman and a lady—tell him they’ll “introduce him to someone good,” so he consults his senior colleague played by Hiroshi Tamaki.

Tamaki replies that it’s “the highest compliment.” Introducing someone to someone else is a sign of trust.
