swim fishing

When it comes to fishing, we usually do it from shore or from a boat—but how about trying it while swimming underwater? This style, also known as snorkeling fishing, might sound unfamiliar, but it’s actually a real way people enjoy fishing! There’s a saying that “you can’t catch fish you can see,” but it seems you really can catch them this way.
In addition to the thrill of hooking fish swimming right in front of you, the pull when a fish bites is stronger than when fishing from land, offering a different kind of excitement.
It’s a groundbreaking activity that lets you enjoy both swimming in the sea and fishing at the same time!
Tag in the sea

Even the games you usually play become twice as fun at the beach because everything feels different! Playing tag in the water adds a new thrill—you can’t move the way you expect because of the water’s resistance, and you can even hide underwater.
It’s a great way for kids and adults to enjoy together without much difference between them!
Ring toss with a swim ring

A classic item for a day at the beach is the swim ring.
How about using it to play a game of ring toss? For example, one person can raise both hands to act as the pole, and others can throw the swim ring onto them.
The nice thing is that you can start right away without preparing anything special.
The “pole” and the thrower can also work together—like moving their hands to make it easier for the ring to go on.
There are also ring toss sets available for purchase, so you can get one and enjoy a more serious game.
bury in the sand

A timeless classic! When you think of the beach, there’s always someone buried in the sand somewhere, right? One of the fun things to do after burying someone is piling up sand to turn them into a mermaid.
Sand is actually quite heavy, and the person buried might not be able to get out on their own, so be sure to help them out afterward.
Let’s draw a big sand picture.

I don’t think we usually get many chances to draw large pictures, but how about creating a big sand drawing together when you go to the beach? It would be great to split up the tasks and make one big masterpiece as a team! Once it’s done, let’s take a commemorative photo from a distance.
It’ll become one of your summer memories.
fireworks

This one is just for looking, but how about the fireworks festivals held at various beaches? Just watching the fireworks spread out along the horizon lets you fully enjoy summer! It’s also fun to set off fireworks you’ve bought yourselves.
Just don’t forget to clean up afterward!

S-ken (traditional Japanese playground game)

This is a game where you draw an S-shaped court, hop on one foot (kenken), enter through an S-shaped opening, and battle the opposing defenders in hand-pushing sumo while hopping, knocking them down and stealing the other team’s treasure.
You’re out if you put both feet down or get dragged into the S-shape.
Pushing from behind and two-on-one battles are also prohibited.
Both adults and children can enjoy playing together.
