It's Noda-chan! Noda-chan

I’m Nodachan, a solo comedian who has been performing on my own since disbanding the comedy duo Charming in 2018.

I gained attention after appearing on Omoshiroso in 2021.

My style starts with the self-introduction, “It’s Nodachan!!,” and features a distinctive way of speaking with lines like “XX-ssu!!” and “It’s XX, desuwa!!” I tell a wide range of stories, from dark humor to bittersweet monologues.

If you try sharing your own stories in Nodachan’s wistful tone, it might surprisingly go over well.

A Tsukkomi in the style of SosinaSoshina from Shimofuri Myojo

Madame Dewi delivers a brilliant tsukkomi in a Shimofuri Myojo parody: Locondo’s new CM series “The Locondo Family” — “Store Clerk,” “Children,” “Blister,” and “Fashion Show” editions, plus behind-the-scenes footage.
A Tsukkomi in the style of Sosina from Shimofuri Myojo, Sosina

This is the signature comeback line of Soshina—the straight man (tsukkomi) of the duo Shimofuri Myojo, who became the youngest champions at the 2018 M-1 Grand Prix.

He delivers the line in a somewhat deep, tough-sounding voice with a serious expression.

When one hand is free, he sometimes turns his palm upward as if holding an apple.

It’s a tsukkomi delivered in a way that stands out from the voice and manner he had been using up to that point.

Give it a try!

Let’s turn back time.Pekopa Shoinji Taiyu

Pekopa, too nervous and bombing? They get through it by performing their “Let’s turn back time” bit. First time at a PR event, self-deprecatingly giving themselves ‘71 points’ — at the launch event for the Tokyo 2020 Sponsor Jumbo Lottery.
Let's turn back time. Pekopa Shoinji Taiyu

Since the 2019 M-1 Grand Prix, the comedy duo Pekopa has been appearing more frequently on TV shows and in commercials.

Shupei’s free-spirited personality and Taiyu Shoinji’s non-negative comebacks and suave persona leave a strong impression! Their humor, which doesn’t hurt anyone, is very popular, and of course their signature catchphrase is Taiyu Shoinji’s “Let’s turn back time.” It’s a line he often drops on TV when a joke falls flat or something goes wrong.

If someone makes a blunder at a drinking party or a joke bombs, throwing out this line on the spot is sure to lighten the mood!

TT Brothers Chocolate Planet

The comedy duo Chocolate Planet’s signature bit/characters, the “TT Brothers.” They’re those characters who make a lively entrance by spreading their arms to form a T while shouting the familiar “T! Ti-tee! Tit-ti-ti-tee!” Their mission is to find any T they can spot around them.

Let’s force it if we have to and find tons of Ts to make it work! Their costume—white T-shirts with a T drawn in vinyl tape, white shorts, and white knee-high socks reminiscent of gym uniforms—is easy to put together.

I got carried away.Yuriyan Retriever

I got carried away. Yuriyan Retriever

This is a bit by Yuriyan Retriever that also made waves on a famous American audition show.

For example, even though her face and everything else is totally different, she’ll introduce herself by saying, “I’m Masami Nagasawa,” and then follow it up with, “Getting a little full of myself.” It’s used like that—as a self-deprecating jab after saying something cocky or riding a wave of momentum.

Since you’ll be calling yourself out afterward like this, go ahead and say whatever you want!

Why japanese people!?!?Atsugiri Jason

How about doing a bit like Atsugiri Jason’s? Even Japanese people sometimes find certain aspects of the language a little strange.

Why not use that as your material? Viewers who usually don’t notice these things will find them funny once they do!

Deep-voice impersonationApple-chan

Ringo-chan changes character under hypnosis? Her signature impressions are sealed away, but she sings and dances with all her might! Pre-release event for the film “Dance with Me.”
Deep-voice impersonation Ringo-chan

With her cute looks and the adorable call of “Music startin’!”, but then sounding like a middle-aged man when she sings? Ringo-chan performs songs like “ff” and “Okuru Kotoba”…

each with spot-on impersonations! It’s nothing special when a man just does impressions, but when a woman who doesn’t usually do anything comedic suddenly pulls this off, people around her might be so shocked their jaws drop! Use that contrast to liven up the room!
