Lovely music

A timeless masterpiece that lets you feel the cosmos. A space-themed song filled with dreams and love, evoking starry skies and galaxies.

What kind of music do you think of when you hear “space”? If we limit ourselves to just the word “space,” the scope might feel narrow, but there are songs that capture it from many angles—like the moon and the stars.

This is a playlist packed with theme songs from TV anime and films that use space as a motif, as well as masterpieces that feature planets, stars, and the moon in their titles.

While researching, I was surprised to find that many space-themed songs are essentially love songs.

How romantic.

Please enjoy a generous selection of space songs that brim with dreams and hope, and overflow with love for that special someone!

A singer-songwriter who has established a one-of-a-kind world with her distinctly unique style, Chiaki Mayumura released this track in 2018 during her indie era, from the album “Three Droplets from the Outer Corners of My Eyes, Return.” It’s packed with various elements, the lyrics are cryptic and chaotic, yet you find yourself drawn in deeper and deeper.

Perhaps that, too, is a method of expressing the cosmos.

The combination of her innocent charm with an unusual, sultry mood and a solid edge is downright cool.

Overflowing with Mayumura’s sensibility, it’s a song that sings about the possibility of having gone to space.
