TOTO TOILET BIKE PROJECT “Appearance” / “Water-Saving” / “Green Model” / “Hydrotect” / “Driving”

This is a quirky, very TOTO-like commercial featuring Ryo Kase.
A talking toilet-motorbike appears, and I can’t forget the sight of Kase straddling it and dashing off in style.
Accompanied by cheerful background music, the journey with the toilet bike—comic yet perhaps even moving—is a must-see.
By the way, this toilet bike actually ran the entire route from Kitakyushu, where TOTO’s headquarters are located, to Tokyo, using biogas made from livestock waste and domestic wastewater as fuel.
TOTO System Bathroom SAZANA “Bath Tatami? SAZANA” Version

The BGM reminds me of old-school new wave.
The repeated phrase about a “floor that won’t make your butt cold” really sticks in your head.
The dancing also feels like it’ll be imprinted on the backs of my eyelids…
That slightly surreal, funny vibe is the charm of this commercial! I also feel like the overall subdued color palette helps create its unique atmosphere.
TOTO Synla “Looks like Big Ben” EditionEiji Yokota, Kokoro Terada

A TOTO commercial for the “SINRA” bathtub featuring the germ duo Big Ben and Little Ben.
These characters, who first appeared in TOTO’s toilet commercials, have finally made their way into a bath ad.
Big Ben is played by actor Eiji Yokota, and Little Ben is played by child actor Kokoro Terada.
As Little Ben introduces the SINRA bathtub, he suddenly realizes something: the person soaking in the bath looks a lot like Big Ben standing next to him.
In fact, Yokota plays both roles, and when Little Ben points it out, both the bathing Yokota and the Big Ben Yokota make the same “Huh?” face.
It’s a fun commercial that blends beautiful background music with a touch of comedy.
TOTO NEOREST Bacteria Parent and Child “Clean Nozzle” EditionEiji Yokota, Kokoro Terada

A commercial in TOTO’s Germ Parent and Child series featuring Eiji Yokota and Kokoro Terada.
Eiji Yokota plays Big Ben, the father of the germ duo, and Kokoro Terada plays his child, Little Ben.
From the germs’ perspective, the ad introduces toilet features that are great for humans but terrifying for germs.
When Little Ben suggests that if they can’t dirty the bowl, they should dirty the nozzle instead, he’s told that won’t work either because the “Cleanse Electrolyzed Water” function keeps it sanitary.
It’s a commercial that makes your heart skip a beat at Little Ben’s adorable lament: “What a terrible toilet.”
TOTO NEOREST ‘Brothers of Bacteria’ versionKokoro Terada, Haru

Kokoro Terada is a child actor who has appeared in numerous dramas, variety shows, and commercials.
In TOTO’s commercials, he and Eiji Yokota have played a parent-and-child duo of germs named Big Ben and Little Ben.
In this new commercial, Little Ben—played by Kokoro Terada—now has a younger germ brother! The role of Little Ben’s brother, Micro Ben, is played by Haruru, a child actor who has appeared in dramas and commercials.
Watching TOTO’s new toilet feature, the “Bikku-Lean Technology,” makes Micro Ben want to go pee.
Little Ben, now a bit more like an older brother, gently tells him to hold it a little longer because they can’t do that here—an endearing moment that warms the heart.
TOTO NEOREST “I Want to Become a Ring Stain” VersionEiji Yokota, Kokoro Terada

This is a TOTO “Neorest” commercial from when Eiji Yokota as Big Ben and Kokoro Terada as Little Ben first started appearing.
The grime that builds up in a toilet day by day can eventually show up as a ring stain.
But TOTO’s Neorest is always disinfecting, so it’s resistant to ring stains! Seeing this, Little Ben the germ is saddened that he can’t grow into a proper ring stain.
At the end of the commercial, Kokoro-kun’s still-innocent-and-cute little germ leaves behind a memorable line—though a sad one from his perspective.

TOTO is amazing here! TOTO’s toilet: ‘Keep the toilet clean~’ edition

A comical commercial where a family tries to push toilet cleaning onto one another.
Nobody likes cleaning the toilet, and the family in this ad is no different.
To a catchy melody, they ask Dad, the kids, and then Mom to clean the toilet, but everyone refuses with a chorus of “No way!” Mom is played by Satomi Kobayashi, Dad by Ken Mitsuishi, and the two children by twin brothers Yoshiyuki Onodera and Fumiya Onodera.
While everyone dreads cleaning the toilet, TOTO’s toilet cleans itself thanks to its “Cleanse/Disinfecting Water” feature.
It’s a commercial that highlights a function any household would love, delivered with a memorable, fun song.
