Card Prediction Magic (1–10)
Jack’s Pursuit

Jack’s tracking: the spectator’s chosen card is revealed because it ends up sandwiched between cards that were inserted in different places.
The method is to use four Jacks—two of them are secretly set on the top and bottom beforehand.
You then produce the other pair of Jacks from the deck and return them to the original position, but those are a decoy; the selected card is actually sandwiched between the Jacks that were prearranged on the top and bottom.
Self-working prediction magic

You’ve probably come across tricks that claim “No practice needed!” but then turn out to require at least a bit of getting used to—like those clickbait thumbnails on video sites.
The magic introduced here, however, is taught from the perspective of a science/engineering college student.
You precisely predict the number of cards handed to you by the spectator, which feels truly mysterious! It looks like a magic trick, but it’s actually just a mathematical phenomenon.
As long as you memorize the steps, anyone—from young children to quite elderly folks—can perform it.
Ace Detective

It’s a magic trick where, after the spectator remembers a card chosen at any spot and returns it to a random position in the deck, the Aces are treated like detectives and then bring back the previously selected card by sandwiching it between them.
It’s also famous because members of Arashi performed it on television.

Guess the card using the number 13

This is a magic trick that uses the number 13, inspired by the number of cards in each suit, to guess the spectator’s card.
A key selling point is that it requires no prior setup.
There are many tricks that end with guessing the chosen card, but the variety in the process that leads to that outcome is what makes this one particularly appealing.
Make them choose the one card, among eight, that was foretold

A magic trick where only the card chosen from eight cards changes the color of its back.
The explanation is easy to understand, so you should be able to grasp the method right away.
When it’s performed smoothly, it doesn’t even make you feel like there’s a trick involved.
Prophecy of the Cards

Card prediction magic is especially popular among tricks performed with playing cards.
The routine introduced here doesn’t just reveal the card the spectator selects—it also produces the other suits of the same value one after another, guaranteed to amaze your audience.
You’ll need a technique for secretly gathering all the cards of the same value without being noticed.
With practice, you’ll be able to deliver a more polished performance.
Start by giving it a try with a relaxed approach.
Guess the card with a countdown

Magicians who count down and hit the chosen card in one go are so cool, aren’t they? Their quick hand movements are mesmerizing to watch.
This one is a trick with a mathematical twist.
The key is to always perform it with a 52-card deck with the two jokers removed.
The setup is to casually separate eight cards while your spectator is memorizing their card.
Be mindful of where you direct your gaze so they don’t catch on.
