A collection of Western songs with titles that start with numbers

In this article, I’ll be introducing classic Western songs whose titles begin with numbers.

When it comes to number-starting titles, some consist of numbers only, while others have words following the numbers.

If you’re knowledgeable about Western music, you might already have a few songs in mind.

That said, we don’t often search for songs by categories like “titles that start with XX,” so this could be a great chance to discover wonderful tracks you didn’t know before.

Take this opportunity to listen to a variety of songs!

1%Funeral for a Friend

This is a track included on the album that became the band’s final release in 2015.

In their early days, they rose to prominence as a leading act in the genre known as screamo, and although they later made minor changes to their sound, they continued their activities.

Their consistently emotional songs are relentlessly moving.

Future, a rapper known for his melodious style, has been active for many years and drops big tunes every year.

His new track is “712PM.” Directed by Travis Scott, it’s hard, dope, and features a strikingly melodic flow.

The Auto-Tune is applied naturally, so even fans of old-school hip-hop should enjoy it.

The new song by Philadelphia-born rapper Guys Guevara feels like peering into his inner world, fusing sharp lyricism with a weightless sonic atmosphere.

Released in December 2024, the track arrives as the lead single from the upcoming album “Goyard Ibn Said,” slated for release in January.

Its gentle beat and melodic flow stand out, signaling a more mature sound that sets it apart from his earlier work.

Without losing his critical stance toward society, he consistently portrays personal conflict as well.

Highly recommended for those who want to immerse themselves in introspective lyricism.

Global Communication is the techno unit of Tom Middleton and Mark Pritchard.

Their track “14:31” takes its title directly from its duration—14 minutes and 31 seconds.

The reason, they say, is to avoid giving listeners any preconceptions, encouraging them to interpret the music freely according to their own imagination.

It begins with a quiet, clock-like sound and gradually draws you into its mysterious world, featuring a richly layered, immersive sound.

Incidentally, the album that includes this track, “76:14,” follows the same concept: not only the album title but the titles of all the tracks are simply their respective lengths.

1-2-3Gloria Estefan

Gloria Estefan is an American singer-songwriter known for her airy vocals.

Although she was born in Cuba, unlike other singers with similar backgrounds, she pursued a pop-oriented sound rather than Latin music.

One of her signature songs is 1-2-3.

Rooted in the dance-pop and pop-rock trends of the time, it became a major hit thanks to its catchy “one, two, three” hook.
